Bigger Radius than standard ones by the name brand, you can run longer bigger rolling stock without them binding or derailing and multiple loops. Good quality.

Again, excellent quality pieces from TrixBrix! A slightly higher radius than official curve pieces, these add enormous layout possibilities. Like other TrixBrix pieces I have, they connect flawlessly together and with original pieces. Again, injection is on par with official track piece quality, the color is almost spot on and the finish is identical. AND! since officially there is no equivalent R56 curves, purists have less reasons to feel bad for using non-official pieces in their build! ;) I HIGHLY recommend these!

There are two main advantages in adding these track pieces to a Lego track layout. Since they have a greater radius (56 studs) than the standard Lego curves (40 studs) they allow a second track to be placed completely parallel to an existing one around a curve, and with the same spacing between tracks as provided by the standard Lego sets of points. Thus is is easy to create a layout with two trains running in opposite directions with very natural curves. The second benefit is that the greater curve radius allows a train to look much more natural when moving around the curve. This is especially helpful if your Lego trains have longer carriages (such as those in the 60337 train set). I now have two boxes of these R56 curves, and they get used in every layout that I create. The quality is outstanding and apart from the subtle Trixbrix logo on the studs instead of the usual Lego logo, they are an extremely good match. Mine are absolutely identical to the Lego track in colour and finish. Highly recommended.

I motorized the new LEGO Orient Express (i.e., tender Powered UP motor). When running, the train really struggles going around standard LEGO R40 track. This is not due to the tender motor, but the result of wide spacing of the engine drive wheels (i.e., drive wheels between a spacer wheel). Thus, I decided to purchase a full circle of R56 track and the train runs much better. It also helps to add silicon bands on the drive wheels. The Trixbrix track quality is outstanding and readily interfaces with LEGO straight track.
