The description is 100% spot on. brand new and worked great in my Y545, was an easy install especially because they included some thermal paste with the package for the heat sink on the CPU that has to be lifted to swap the fans. 10/10 would order again.

Bought this about 6 months ago, replaced the fans and everything was working smoothly. Now the fan is wobbling and making grinding sounds, this is a laptop that stays in one place always and can only imagine how they would perform in someone’s laptop who carries their laptop with them.

Ordered these to replace a rattling fan (figured I'd do both). Worked great for about two months. Now both of these fans are making grindy noises. Opened machine to look at them and they already feel like they're seizing up. Not sure if it's just mine, but these two are for sure bunk.

The GPU fan on my Lenovo Y545 started making loud noises and was seizing up. I ordered this set of replacement fans. The install was pretty easy, even for a novice, and they work perfectly.

Replacement cooling fans started grinding about the time the return window closed. It seems there is a very good reason why they have such a short return window. We advise against buying anything from this seller or buying anything made by this manufacturer. Cooling fans in laptops and desktops typically last 5 years or longer, and these ones lasted less than a month.
