Grab a Bargain
I had an old Honor 8x now over three years ago. It ran out of steam and very slow. So grabbed this, which is pretty and is nice in the hand. It was very easy to transfer all the old phone stuff over with Honor Phone Clone. So I have easily upgraded to a new phone - so what is it like? It is fast, responsive and big learning curve either. I use it for work - taking pictures and sending them = really brilliant pictures as well and bags of memory to keep them in. I also game and it is slick and easy for gaming. You tube is excellent with its bright OLED screen. It fits the old case - so I am in no rush to change cases. In all its a cheap price to a big improvement leap. Happy

Get the best from Google and Huawei apps
The Honor 50 phone is very good. I have had Huaewii phones for the last few years, and have liked them, but living without Google Play is a big ask. The good thing about the Honor 50 phone, is both Google- and Huawei-based apps work out of the box, so you get the best of both worlds. I wanted Huawei Health for my Honor Fitness band, it didn't work. However, I contacted Honor support and was told Petal Health is basically the same thing and I installed that instead and it IS Huawei Health (it even calls itself that!) but works on Honor. There are also one or two other Huawei apps I use which work straight from Google play (I think you have to install some apps on other versions of Android to use Huawei ones). Other highlights of the Honor 50 is the amazingly quick charging and the battery life. I use my phone a lot but it can last two days which is brilliant, and it charges in a few minutes. Other than that, it's a great all-round phone. Face reader/fingerprint/MFC all work fine. I have read magazine reviews that the cameras are not fantastic, but they seem fine to me for what I do (and I use the camera a lot).

Pretty good so far
Changed from Huawei to Honor as this has Play functionality. Came nicely boxed and presented - wonder if it's the same factory who manufacture for Xiaomi? My husband got an 11T and it's presented exactly the same way! Comes with a crystal case and basic screen protector - you'll need it as the screen is terrible for fingerprints! I would suggest getting a better screen protector though. A lot of the features of the Huawei are on this phone, so easy enough to navigate. Transfer of data is easy enough, but would suggest using the Phone Clone rather than the suggested Google, as Google does not transfer everything. Nice big screen and a good weight in the hand. I got the Frost colour which is gorgeous. All in all - a decent enough phone for the price.

Fantastic
For the price this phone is amazing. Quite hard to find a good screen protector due to curved screen so ordered a panzer glass screen which was expensive but I can't fault anything else. I lovely the sparkly white backing too. So pretty.

For the Honor
Big fan of the Honor brand and I'm happy their latest phone range arrived. This one looks great. Has a great user feel and nice screen with smooth reaction to movement and use. Great camera and brilliant storage size. I will enjoy using this phone as it integrates into my life as it will be the backbone of not just my communication and picture memories but a multie connective music hub 🔭🧐
