I liked this unit because for the first time no batteries are required. It seems to playa long while (couple of hours anyway) before it needs to be recharged. I really like that if I stop a disc in midtrack, the unit picks up exactly where it was when I turned it off.Without headphones or an attached speaker the unit at max volume isn't very high. That isn't a problem for me since I am used to portable cd units with no built in speaker system. So, even at a low volume, having a built-in speaker is a plus.I am very happy with the purchase and have ordered a second one for a back-up.

I have bought several CD players from Amazon, and every one of them work fine. The problem is, there is a major design flaw 100% of them have legibility issues---you can't see the buttons unless the backlight is on. Why not make a feature to always allow backlight to be on? Or, better yet, just figure out color contrast. It's ridiculous.On the black unit, they use black buttons, with what appears to be a faded shade of white for the button text. Really? Whose idea was that? The button text is too small and too light in color. Vendor, you can do better.3/5 stars, because CDs do sound good on it.

I bought this so that we can listen to audio books in the car. Works well but I have to remember to keep it turned off if not using and keep it charged.

I liked this player very much! I didn't use it often, but when I did it worked well, through speakers and ear buds, very lightweight/portable. So needless to say I was extremely disappointed that within a couple of months (in which I only used it, maybe 10 times), the sound chip went out. My husband trouble shot and tried to fix, but we couldn't get any info from seller on how to get a replacement part. Since it was barely past the return window, I couldn't even get an exchange. I didn't buy warranty, because have never had problems with electronics. Maybe this brand is just junk! I don't know because seller never responded back to me, which shows they don't care about customer satisfaction. Buyer beware!!! If you want a high quality player that's going to last, don't purchase this one, or at least buy the warranty(hoping that it actually covers item).

very happy with my purchase, good quality, fair price, all the features I wanted and needed, easy to use. Happy to have attachments and the soft drawstring carrying bag. The only issue is I wish the max volume were louder. I ordered a mini speaker from Amazon made by Milcraft, $13.90, small, plugs into player, that will give me the extra volume I need. So now it is perfect!

I love how easily transportable this is and with great sound quality

The player worked for one month. Now the CD spins and the screen shows it is playing but no sound will come out of the exterior speaker or the headphone jack. Have tried different things but no dice. When I contacted the manufacturer, they passed the buck to Amazon. 😒

The instructions are horrible. We could never figure how to rewind it, (you can't) it had some features I thought should be there but we couldn't find. UGGG. My granddaughter wanted to use it for books on tape. I tried to take it back for a Amazon return a zillion time but she is young and said it does what she wants and she is keeping it. I don't think she will use it much, but she is head strong so I guess it is one more gift I wish I hadn't purchased.
