These led are extremely bright. Probably comparable to the ones I see being used at gas station store windows. I had to turn the brightness all the way down to accent a picture on the wall. The number of customized settings on this thing is insane! I spent half an hour playing with the different combination of color and brightness. It also has different fade options and flash rate. Awesome deal for only $33. Thinking about buying more to accent my fish tank.

I purchased these lights the first time on March 26th so I could have them for my son's golden birthday on April 13th. They arrived on time (2 days with Prime) but they did not work correctly. When I would push the red button, the lights changed green. When I pressed the green button, the lights turned red. It was as if the red and green wiring had been switched around. I tried switching the strips around, but then each strip was a different color, neither of which was the color I pressed on the remote. (Photos shown) Completely defective. The first set was returned for a refund, and I repurchased a second set.The second set arrived and again, one of the strips was defective and would not turn the same color as the first strip. (Photos shown)After much difficulty with the seller and numerous emails back and forth where I was not treated as a valued customer, they finally agreed to send me an additional strip to replace the second set's defective strip, free of charge. So now, to clarify, I have in my possession, the second set I ordered with one defective strip which I cannot use, plus a 3rd strip they sent to replace that defective one. This extra strip arrived today, April 17th. This time, both strips are ALMOST the same color. On certain settings, like light green, one is slightly darker than the other, and on purple, one is clearly more red and the other more blue. (Photos shown) Then, as I went to unroll this strip, I find that the paper has already been removed for the sticky backing and there is gunk and hair stuck to the back. The strip had what looked to be hot glue and wood pieces stuck to is as well. (Photos shown) It had already been used and returned by someone else. I was completely disgusted. By the hair and stuff stuck to the lights, how I have been treated as a customer AND the terrible product I have received over and over again.Needless to say, this has ruined part of the birthday plan I had for my son, and I will be requesting another refund. I would not recommend this product at all.How I rate products⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I absolutely love this product! I will go out of my way to tell people because I am that impressed. The product is everything the seller described and has exceeded my expectations!⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really like the product, though there may be one or two things I'd like different or think should be improved. I would recommend the product if someone asked about it or was in the market for something similar, but not go out of my way.⭐⭐⭐ The product may have several issues I'm not thrilled about, but the product still does its job somewhat efficiently. I may suggest this product to friends and family, but also suggest trying other brands.⭐⭐ This product doesn't really work for me, or did at one point and then broke, stopped functioning properly, etc. I would not suggest the product to friends or family.⭐ The product does not work at all, was damaged, defective, missing parts, or may have been a complete waste of money and time all together. I would go out of my way to tell friends and family not to buy the product.

I tried to use these as under cabinet lights. They were a nightmare... I ran wire behind the cabinet before they were installed so I could splice in lights under each set of cabinets. The connectors from the lights to the wire are nearly impossible. I am familiar with wiring and they were impossible. It took me hours to make three connections. Part of the issue was the lights would come on (so the connector was working), except the strings would be different colors. The connectors have to be absolutely perfect (and stay that way) for the colors to be the same from one string to the next. The final and fatal issue was that when I was completely finished, I noticed the lights get noticeably dimmer from one section to the other (the first strip plugged directly in to the power source were very bright, the lights two sections away are dim). It looks ridiculous! I tested the connections with a meter and get the same voltage reading from one section to the next. I give up. I will take them down and try something else. I normally do not give up on anything and I can fix most things (that is why I spent hours instead of just giving up like reasonable people would have). Do not make the mistake I made....

Terrible, don't believe all the reviews. Bought connectors and everything it suggested, between my husband and I we bought it 3 times, 6 rolls altogether. It wasn't consistent, the lighting kept getting darker and darker with each connector placed. Ended up tearing our project apart and started from scratch using Nanoleaf Aurora lights for project. Also NONE of the 3 remotes worked properly, only White would work. When we pressed fade it would begin to fade then it started to strobe and flash. Ordered a 4th one because I was getting desperate and thank God, I didn't use it and will be returning one. Can't return the others, as we had to cut them to fit our project. Waste of valuable time and money.

We love the look of these. They have been put under our cabinets in the kitchen to give a nice back light. However, the adhesive isn't very good and we have had to use other means to keep them up. Also, they are not very bright so don't expect to use them to be able to see things. The remote sensors are sometimes finicky even when right next to the sensor.

I bought these to live me my deck outside.Unfortunately my hose and plug in are right next to each other, and the power thing is not waterproof, so no biggie, I ran an extension cord to where I wanted the lights to start...this left the power thing exposed to the weather, so I put a planter box over it, kinda tacky looking but I could live with it. Than I started the process of sticking them to the side of my deck (wood). Doesn't stick. Sad day. So after spending the afternoon trying to make it work, I finally brought them inside and put them behind my tv. And they look great back there, though it's not why I bought them....I'll try something different for outside.

The LED strips may be waterproof but the electric plug and IR sensor for the remote are not (at least that's what it says on the plug. If you are installing these outside make sure to take precautions to keep the plug and sensor dry.

So far these are awesome!!! I will update my review if they fail for some reason....well the update just dropped it to 1 star....power unit won't turn on after 5 months with less then 20 times of use! Might have to try a different company
