This works really good!
It took off the old Cedar stain from my shed and gable. I was impressed. The old Cedar stain came off easily and I was able to apply primer and a coat of latex paint without any bleeding. You need to mix it up according to directions. Use a 5 gallon bucket and a large paint mixing stick. Use a pump sprayer. It will start coming off within a few short minutes if not immediately. Use a good water hose with some pressure or a power washer on low pressure to rinse Use a quality type of primer if you plan on painting over what's left of the Cedar stain.

Good product
This product worked great. Just as advertised. After years of staining and stripping and restaining my cedar deck I said no more stain. So last year no stain. This year it looked awful. Mildew, black, and gray. Not a nice weathered gray. Used cedar wash. Spray on, power wash off. The wood does not look like new cedar- it looks like clean cedar. 100% better. I can do this every spring and be happy w the deck. Pmm

This worked so much better than I thought it would. Brought back what we thought we couldn’t save!

Useless product
Useless. Poured a solution twice the recommended mix strength onto a cedar post and rail fence and it did absolutely nothing. If it was so good, why would they recommend a pressure washer? If that was the case, why not just pressure wash the fence and not spend the money on this useless product? Save your money and use good old fashioned bleach.

It does work somewhat
I have cedar timbers on my front porch that needed cleaned before staining and sealing. Did a lot of research and this product appealed to me because of plant safety and I could use a garden hose to rinse it off. I did not want to use a power washer on cedar. I mixed one batch which seems to take forever to get mixed. Hard to tell when it is ready so I stirred for the time noted on the package. Read on line that this is basically just hydrogen peroxide, so I researched the volume of H2O2 . Turns out I could use the 3% peroxide sold in drug stores. I bought one that had a sprayer on it for a buck. Used it and compared the results. The dollar stuff worked much better and you can actually see it turning white as it should to kill the mold and mildew with no over spray.Be prepared to scrub it off no matter what product you use.

Should of used this a looooong time about
This made cleaning my cedar shake roof on my gazabo a breeze. When I would use the chlorine deck cleaner it made a mess. This stuff made it so easy I was done in 2hours instead of 4. 4 stars for ease of use since I had to get a bucket that help 2 gallons and sit there and mix it with a paint mixer for 15min. Not all the product mixed up.I used 2 cups for 2 gallons since my roof was a real mess. Now it looks like new!!!

Good Stuff
This is a good product but it worked a lot better when I mixed it stronger than the directions. Pretty economical compared to other non-bleach alternatives and not nearly caustic as bleach. I will use it again
