Royce LeatherMen's RFID Blocking Executive Bifold Wallet in Leather

Although nicely made and a good value for the money, it disappoints in several ways. When loaded with credid cards in each slot, ID's and miscellaneous paper cards, the wallet distorts and becomes too thick. Given the soft leather, it becomes very difficult to extract it from a hip pocket. Granted, a pick pocket would not like his clients to have this wallet, but it gets embarrasing at the check out when one has to struggle to produce a credit card. I am not terribly impressed with its RF blocking ability. I placed my credit card sized "Smart Key" for my car in the wallet, and it works perfectly-every bit as good as it worked in my non RF blocking wallet that this wallet replaced.

A nice, compact wallet which I bought for travel but now also use here at home. I got it after one of my credit cards was apparently read either while it was in my old wallet or after I had given my card to a waiter by some tech-savvy thief, and so far, no more problems. The wallet won't stop your card from being read once it's outside the wallet, of course, but at least you have protection while it's on your person. The only downside is that the wallet is pretty stiff because of the metal sewn in to create a Faraday cage which shields your RFID chips from being read by crafty thieves. That makes it a little hard to get cards into and out of the wallet.

I've only been using this for a couple of weeks. The wallet is what I Had expected so far. My only concern is how long the RFID feature will last (time will tell if it really is a 4 star rating. This was not an inexpensive wallet and I am expecting a lot.

It says, "Elegantly gift Boxed for the perfect gift presentation." It came in a plastic covering - false advertisement! I like the wallet and it is a gift for my grandson's graduation from high school - but why lie????? Now I will have to go searching for a gift box. That is the only reason for the low stars - don't lie!!!!!! Ok update - they insisted on sending another in the "elegant box for giving" This is what I got now - see above TWO wallets in clear plastic!!!!! - returning one - will buy a bag. False advertisement

I went to the UK recently and did a lot of backpacking and at times, I was around some pretty wild and unsavory places and characters or were they characatures? hmmm I even saw a few people using credit card scanner devices and I knew I had what they were looking for on my person but with this type of safety, I was not a victim! I will say I was nervous til I checked my bank statements for the next few weeks and I know they scanned me because before I would realize what they were doing, I had all but walked past them. Anyway, I read up and researched on what to look out for while there or for that matter, anywhere in the world traveling. I took the best safety precautions I knew of and I must say, this is a billfold that performs!

Capacity inadequate for more than one foreign currency.

This appears to be a well made item and is generally well organized. Two separate currency pockets are convenient for traveling in multiple countries. Credit card pockets are very tight - time will tell whether they loosen with use and how well the wallet holds up to daily use.

Item is as described and comes in a decent gift box. The stitching of the leather is well done without flaws. You may need to trim the border on any laminated cards you want to display in one of the ID flaps. It is important to be able to block RFID signals from being read and this wallet makes it convenient. You will not have to bother the protective sleeves for your cards with built in RFID chips. All credit and debit cards in the USA will soon all have these chips and if you do not block their signal, an identity thief can steal your account information without any physical contact with the card.
