Remo practice pads are the best in the business.
Great, high quality Remo practice pad. An indispensable easily portable practice drum for any drummer on the go. I have been using one of these Remo practice pads for over 45 years. Gave my old 8" Remo pad to my grandson and got a new 10" pad for myself. Feels just like playing an actual snare drum. I like this bigger size because it works with a standard snare drum stand. It's a sturdy well built, durable practice pad that will last you for years, if not decades as my old one has and still going strong for my grandson. It is the best practice pad on the market and I think the best value for the money that you can get with the most realistic feel and stick response similar to an actual snare drum. Great for practicing after hours or anytime that you need to practice more quietly as it is very quiet and its sound doesn't carry far or travel through walls. This practice pad isn't just for beginners but great practice tool for working seasoned professionals to keep in practice with rudiments, stick control, and speed.

Nice, responsive pad.
This is a useful pad that gives you some pretty decent stick rebound and feel, albeit it is louder than I would like. If you live in an apartment and wish to practice next to someone who is sleeping the really ultra dense rubber pads are quieter (but also unrealistic in feel). The threading on the adapter is 1/4-20 for some reason. I have thread checkers on hand and 6mm thread patterns do not fit.

Sounds amazing ^_^
Sounds so good, the bounce is amazing, I love the color scheme, it’s very portable, it’s not that heavy, and it is very strong!, highly recommend for people in drumline/band like me ^_^

The gold standard (according to me, at least.) But noisier than gum rubber.
"Back in the day," (1980's) this was the gold standard for practice pads, i.e. the type instructors recommended for practicing rudimental or orchestral snare. Since it's more like a snare drum than the gum rubber pads, you can practice playing softer dynamics closer to the rim. It's also very useful that it has a rim (most gum rubber pads lack it), so you can practice playing on the rim. I can't prove it, but it seems to create less impact on the wrists to me than my gum rubber pad; I think there's more cushioning between your wrist and the hard surface below the "head." If you get the version with coated head, you can practice brush playing. And it's tunable, so you have options with the tension. I had my first Remo pad for 35 years; then it was destroyed in a flood. Now I'm on my second one. There is only one downside I've found: it's noisier than the gum rubber pads. I live in an apartment complex with lots of neighbors and open windows around, plus I like to practice at night. So I have one of each type of pad. But the crisper sound of the Remo pad also helps you clean up your technique, since any sloppiness is easier to hear than with the gum rubber pads. If you don't need the absolute quietest pad, I still think of this as the "gold standard" for practice pads.

Ritenuto rumoroso da molti batteristi. Acquistato su richiesta dell'insegnante di musica e non per scelta personale. Comunque è buon oggetto.

The red is Plastic and dull. The photo of it makes it look like Red Metalic Metal Rim. But it isn't. Doesn't sound very good either. Not much rebound either. Would not reccomend.
