The retractable line broke off during my first year of ownership, so I found the mfgr website and sent them an email message requesting warranteed replacement. They replied and asked for a photo, proof of purchase, shipping addresss. They sent me a replacement, new, works great!

I bought this to keep my AI dive computer close to my body and in a place that’s easily accessible. It installed very quickly, it has lasted many dives, and has never given me any issues. I’m happy with the length of the cord and the strength of the spring to retract the cord. It definitely helps to streamline my diving profile. I’ve thought about buying a few more to keep other gear tidy. Definitely would recommend.

seems ok, especially for the price

Great in every way. Solid product, built well. It come with an option to have a key ring attachment. It ended up being a little to bulky and over built for me for my office / school setting but will absolutely use it for my outdoor/diving/gun range activities. (I’m pretty sure that’s what it was meant and built for anyways.

This worked perfectly for diving with my GoPro and light rig. It attached easily and didn't cause much strain on my hands with its retraction Force. I also really appreciated the locking feature which was very helpful. It's well made and worked really well.

I bought this for my dive light and it rusted on my first dive in Cozumel. I even rinsed it thoroughly after the dive. The keyring is all that rusted and it can be easily replaced, but still disappointing. Besides that, it’s worked great so far. It’s been on 14 dives with me. If I had to do it over again, I would purchase another of the more expensive brand which I have and love.

I purchased this boomerang tether for underwater scuba diving use for my dive light. This item appears to be very good quality retracts the weight of my dive light and is a very convenient item to have. I can clip it on to a d-ring on my buoyancy compensator and when I need my flashlight grab it and pull it out and when I don't need the flashlight let go of it and it'll retract back into my buoyancy compensator this is the perfect item for a diver!

Editing to one star, would give zero if that was an option. The clip is horrible. The slightest about of pull makes it open so whatever you are trying to keep safe is still attached to the cord, but no longer where you tried to secure it. The cord broke after 3 weeks, so that is worthless as well. Complete wastes of money.

Currently putting it through its paces. First thing that happened though was that the universal end fitting (metal wire) kept popping off, dropping everything on it. It seems the slightest funny angle lets one end pop through - repeatedly, rendering it useless. Now using the more traditional split ring attachment (+1 that they include options) and it is more secure. Belt attachment as good as any hook and loop type I have used.
