I have been wearing the wrong shirt stays for 20 years!!!!!!! I use to use the cheap ones, you know the ones, cheap rubber ones that constantly came undone and broke apart. As soon as I opened the package, I knew these were worth every penny. Other reviewers said "they ripped my shirt/socks"..... Well I say, you are doing something wrong then...... I am 6'2" and I wear them at the shortest possible setting, and could maybe go a little shorter. I like them tight, and may figure out a way to make them shorter. Due to the fact that they are made poperly & are "heavy duty", you can feel them when wearing them. Every now and then I get some chaffing, but I just move the clip that's bothering me slightly and I'm good to go. All in all this is a great product & I highly recommend it.

The first day I got them, these super stays worked great! They kept my uniform shirt tucked in through my entire work day. After a few days though, they started to lose a bit of their tension. They still keep my shirt tucked in, but it isn't pulled taut and even like it was the first day or two. Nevertheless, they have leveled off at a decently tight tuck and seem to be staying there (owned 4 weeks now). Unlike some reviews I have read, they haven't torn any holes in my shirts. I guess it depends on the fabric.

Recommendation: Don't make the straps too tight or else it may cause rip your shirt. Only a little pull is necessary.Would also be much better if straps could be made much shorter to accommodate knee-high socks. However, with some ingenuity you can jerry-rig the strap to this end.The ripping is not a big deal, by the way.Also, might i mention this product is fantastic?

Shipped very quickly. Use these for work and are possibly the best shirt stays I've ever found. They don't slip off and have to fix them. I have had the other type of shirt stays that just "lock" in place, but they always slipped off and I either fixed them or had to take them off completely. Great quality and I am very happy with these.

I purchased these for my son. He was a varsity driller, JROTC. They kept everything in place. Awesome price too.

I wouldn't buy this again.(I also bought the stirrup type)pros:-the elastic is good material.-the clips are made well but.....wish it was heavy duty plastic.cons:-pin in middle of clips tour a huge hole in my shirt where the clip goes (4 clips 4 holes after 5 hour wearing time).-way too long even after adjusted to the end still has slack on shirt stay(this was made for some one 8' tall).I'm 5'8", 150lbs and it does not even pull at all on my uniform shirt. One size, but not fit all(had to paysome one to shorten and resew).-clips made well but it sets off airport metal detectors(kinda irritating because i fly 4 times a week, get felt up every timesucks, it would be pro if you like to be felt up by TSA).not worth the $ or the free crotch pat down by TSA. Don't recommend at all. Guess i'll stick with the cheap one.

I work in the corporate world, and I used to have to tuck my shirt in all the time. Not anymore! Yes the look goofy when I'm changing at the gym, but they work great, and I look sharp. The only bad thing is they can damage your socks and shirts over time. Just an FYI.
