Seems to be a quality product
Installation is a pain, mostly taking this laptop apart but that has nothing to do with the fan quality and everything to do with the design of this HP model.The fan itself seems well made, well packaged and has been running trouble free for several months now in my wife's laptop. As people familiar with computer repairs know though - it's all about MTBF (mean time between failures). I'm hoping after one early failure that I'm not unlucky enough to have two. We'll see.

Replaced my Laptop fan in my HP model 15-dy2091wm
Received item very quickly and was easy to install. It fit perfectly and quite! This saved me a lot of money having to take my laptop in for a new fan which seems to be one of the first thing to go now a days! I highly suggest this replacement part for anyone who needs a fan.

It does work but it’s not in best condition
Well my old fan whenever on would just make the most noise as possible and it did not shut off until the fan turned off and or I shut my computer off this fan when I installed it works but you can still hear the fan witch I’m fine with once you get use to it. But like on other people computers that have the same type as mine does not make noise so I think it’s just the fans I had.
