Update: 2-18-2018 After using this book for a while, after my original review, I have found that even though there is some redundancy with the general electrical book, it has some very important tables when it comes to sizing your branch circuit conductors and branch circuit protection in regard to motors. These tables are typically part of the NEC electrical code book which comes with a hefty price. For this reason alone, I have increased my rating from 4 to 5 stars. One table in particular has done all the calculations for you and lists the proper breaker, fuse and conductor sizes based on horsepower. Well worth it.

Great reference read!
Every tech, electrician, engineer needs to keep a copy of this in his/her tool box for reference. Lots of information in this book. You also need to get the Ugly's Electrical References book, too. It's another great tool box addition!

Good, but a fair amount of redundancy with the Ugly's general electrical book. Update: 2-18-2018 After using this book for a while, after my original review, I have found that even though there is some redundancy with the general electrical book, it has some very important tables when it comes to sizing your branch circuit conductors and branch circuit protection in regard to motors. Great reference
Great pocket sized reference book. I use it all the time to refresh the old memory

Informative but not to durable
A lot of the information is repetitive but it’s still a good book to have out In the field. A quick reference guide that’s small enough to have on person but big enough that the font isn’t to small. The cover does rip a little easy so I suggest keeping it somewhere safe in your bag and possibly in a waterproof bag or ziplock bag.

Good source of information
Has all the diagrams for 1p and 3p motor connections, and motor control connections. Has the formulas for load calculations. Handy to keep in tool bag or on kindle

Compact, helpful guide
It's a helpful book if you work around industrial electrical. Plenty of useful tips and diagrams that I don't believe are in the regular edition.
