A great choice for Cat Trees/Scratchers
A few years back, we decided to build a large cat tree so our cats could get some exercise and enjoy a better view of our backyard and neighbors yards. I got a few rolls of this to make some of the support posts into large scratching posts. The cats absolute love this rope, and it has been extremely durable. I am finally replacing part of the heavily used rope, but most of the scratching posts are still in great shape. These are an excellent choice if you are making or restringing a scratching post.

Worked well and covered my whole project
I used this to make a cat scratching post with a piece of 1”x4”x 38” piece of wood I had on hand. This roll covered the board, wound very tightly, with a few feet left over. It’s a nice thickness, didn’t cut up my hands, and wrapped pretty easily. I screwed the board into a door casing and I like that the light rope color blends in nicely. I think this will last well, and there’s only a natural fiber smell, nothing off putting. Great deal!

My cat Grasshopper thanks you very much!
This stuff is great! Hand wrapped an eight foot wooden pole for my cat. She loves it! Hot glue gun made the wrapping a little easier.

Works perfectly
I had bought the 3/8” sisal rope to re-wrap my cats scratching post. She was a little hesitant because of the new rope smell but, she’ll get used to it. Works perfect for what I needed it for. Very pleased with the quality and price.

VERY GOOD cat friendly rope
My husband wanted me to order the 50 foot rope and as I never listen to him, I ordered 100 feet! (Just in case). Well, it’s a good thing that I did. We were able to do Mr cat’s kitty palm tree trunk, as well several columns of his play tower structure with some remaining for future projects. It took a lot more rope than “we” thought. It is thicker rope than the original, so it will last! Mr. Cat loves it! Also, some reviews mentioned the rope having an odor. I have a very sensitive nose and I found nothing repulsive about the smell of this rope at all!

Works as expected and cat likes sharpening claws on it
I used this to re-wrap out cat tree and it works as expected. Cat loves it and it lasts a lot longer than the bamboo type rope that came with it.

Cat Tree Rope Approved.
I used this to repair my cat tree. It has held up well and hasn't hurt my cats nails. The rope is thick so keep that in mind if you have a smaller cat tree if that's what you are using it for. It has no crazy odor to me, it smelled like rope... I have a crap ton extra left over i plan to keep using.

Strong and thick sisal rope. Exactly what I ordered.
I'm very pleased at the quality and amount of sisal rope that I received on this purchase. As you can see in the pictures that I posted, it's quite perfect for replacing or making cat scratch posts. Exactly my purpose in buying this rope. I just used an old chair base, tied the rope with some thin wire to the bottom, wrapped and hot glued the sisal rope all the way up the stem. The chair base was about 2 feet tall and I was able to wrap 67 times around. I then sprayed a bit of catnip spray on it and I'm telling you, my cats won't leave it alone. I also still have plenty of rope to spare because this stuff is nice and thick, I'd say just less than a pinkie width. I would assume I've used less than 30 ft. on this project, (sorry I didn't measure how much I used exactly) and I am happy to say I have plenty to spare for other posts or projects. 100 feet of this rope should easily wrap a 3 inch diameter post at 6 ft. tall with some left over. If you have an old cat scratch post or tower that needs some new rope, this is the stuff.

Lo compré para restaurar las cuerdas el mueble de mi gato. Es bastante más gruesa que la cuerda delgada que traía el mueble, razón por la que quedó hasta mucho mejor. La volveré a comprar.

Purchased to repair a cat scratching post, 3/8 inch was thicker than my original one as I have 3 large cats who shredded the original one very quickly. This has worked perfectly and is holding up to vigorous scratching. If purchasing for this use, don’t underestimate how much you need. This product was excellent value for money and way cheaper to repair than replace. It arrived as described and within the expected delivery time. I had no reason to contact customer service so can not comment on this. Based on my own personal experience I would recommend using this company.

Used this to make a super duty cat scratching post. Lots of rope and wraps to cover the post. It maybe could have a touch more give when clawing but the cat uses it regularly still and it hardly shows any wear. Seems like this was a good rope and size for my purpose.
