Amazing Strings!
My absolute favorite strings! These things are killer, man! They last a good long time (even with vigorous use) before you have to change them, they sound fantastic, and they're a great value for the price you pay! They're super comfortable to play, the gauge is perfect for the style of music that I play (folk/country) and as long as you wind them right at the tuning pegs they stay perfectly stable and in tune (even the infamous high E). I highly recommend these for any musician, from beginner to pro, and I personally will be a D'Addario diehard until I can't play anymore!

Tone
Great tone and feel right out of the pack bright, clear sound that really brings an acoustic guitar to life. They don’t last quite as long as some premium strings, but for the price and playability, they’re a solid choice.

Outstanding strings at a budget price
I have been playing guitar for 30+ years and I have been through nearly every brand of strings you can think of. Every time I try a different brand I regret not simply sticking with these. I like a mix of warm and bright and these definitely fill that roll. Additionally, these strings have made playing all of my acoustics nearly as easy to play as an electric which make these strings ideal for beginners and intermediate, alike. After a couple of weeks of sitting, I can pick up one of my guitars and it will still mostly be in tune. I use these strings on my Guild, Breedlove, Takamine, and Yamaha. If you are a beginner and still working on hand strength and building callouses then these strings are definitely for you. If you are intermediate and just want easier playability and like to pick out some leads on acoustic then these strings will be a game changer. I can't sing their praises enough.

Bright and Crisp
D'Addario is known for quality strings. The light gauge is good for fretting while reducing finger tension. The 80/20 bronze strings (80% copper, 20% zinc) are know for having a "bright" sound that will give you excellent projection.

Great strings
I tried both 80/20 vs phosphor bronze bluegrass, and the blue pack acoustic on 3 different Martin models and a gibson. They are all top line and play well. That said, of these 3 strings, I prefer the phosphor bronze bluegrass. But wait there's more! I recently started using the XT PB 12-56 and dig them for flat picking of course on my D28 and D45 and gibson j200. I've used them also on my D18 and I think they were a bit over bearingly pronounced for mahogany. Mahogany should be kinda more blended, warm and forgiving. So im trying a pack of string joy brand on 18 and those are a mellower play and less "tattle'y" on my mistakes and suit a rhythm playing style with some small simple pentatonic licks. For what its worth, jam on keep picking.

Insanely comfortable to play!
I’d give these strings ten stars if I could! I’m a D’addario lifer for my electric strings, but started playing acoustic as well within the last year. I’ve cycled several different gauges of strings from mediums to super lights in search of solid tone and comfortable playability. These 80/20 bronze extra lights were the solution I’ve been looking for! I’ll preface by saying I’ve been using all these strings on a Fender Dreadnought acoustic, and the tension on that bad boy is pretty intense. It was hard for me to finger barre chords without pressing down like I’m stopping a leak, but no more! This set plays well and has a very bright tone, very in line with singer-songwriter fare, and are also easy to fingerpick accurately. The tuning stability is GREAT so long as you restring properly, and they’ll undoubtedly last about as long as D’addario strings do (best results? Change every six weeks!).
