Nice quality camera
Simple and easy to use. I was surprised with the image quality and different camera focal points available. The extra settings it comes with is just the icing on the cake. I used a suction cup accessory and put it on my car and I was pleased with the quality of the camera. The 1 and half hour battery is fine with me. It saves videos every 10 minutes which is neat data loss feature.

Love this camera
I got this for my birthday or Christmas years ago, and finally got around to using it for my new fishing Youtube channel. I've used it probably 20 times and each time it's rolling for at least a few hours at a time, but most of the time it's on for like 10 hours. I have a great system, which includes a bunch of batteries and sd cards. I've had no problems with it overheating or not working. I've had no issues with footage randomly disappearing or being corrupted. I've used it in cold, high wind and rain conditions in November, as well as straight 90° sunlight in the summer. Not to say those things can't or won't happen, but so far so good. I've been using this camera consistently about 4 months now, and I love it. Ordered another for my friend for Christmas so we can both record on our adventures.PS: the channel is PierMichiganFishing and second channel is PMF Creek

Not my first one owned - get one.
The media could not be loaded. I really like the simplicity of the Hero9. I have owned a few and enjoy using this model of GoPro. Good value considering the 13 is expensive.Good sound quality for the microphone, good quality video a captured.I would recommend a sealed case for underwater use. They’re usually around $20.Video examples is a 10 second time lapse video I shot

GoPro Hero 9
Love the camera so far, my only issue is the battery compartment is a little difficult to open. As far as the video or photos I haven’t got to that part yet, so more to follow.

Worked really well on dive trip, battery (plus additional ones) lasted just fine!
GoPro really is the standard for underwater video action cams - loved this camera; with additional batteries for backup and a good underwater casing, this was all I needed to get some amazing shots during our dive trip.

The Hero9 Failed While Filming - It Just Stopped Working!!!
First, let me say that I have used GoPro cameras since the first Hero came out. I am not one to write reviews but this time is an exception. I want to explain what is wrong with the camera I purchased and why I would like a replacement.1. I bought the camera in January 2022 along with other GoPro accessories. I use the camera exclusive in my ecology tour company and now I feel like I was sold a used or returned camera.2. On April 24, 2022 while filming underwater the camera went black. It stopped for no reason. I am very disappointed.3. I tried different batteries that were charged to see perhaps if it was a faulty battery. At the moment I was changing the battery I could not see into the well where it sits. But returning home upon further inspection it appears that the unit battery contact point burned out. How is this possible?+4. A month before this happened the camera was in the Kupton waterproof housing and used to take pictures and realized the entire case got extremely hot from the Lithium battery. So hot I had to gingerly open the case to only realize that the entire camera was hot as hell. I had to sit it down to cool off. From that point on I stopped using the case and attached the camera directly to the OFFICIAL GOPRO Pole Stick.5. The camera seemed to work but often it changed modes mysteriously. When I set the mode to video it would jump to Time Lapse for no apparent reason. I am careful not to touch the back screen to ensure this does not happen. The Hero9 is the worst camera I ever owned.6. Now my business will suffer because I am out $350.00 for a camera that only worked for 3 months.7. I humbly ask to return the camera and receive a free replacement from GOPRO to include free shipping with the new camera.8. The Quick App does not work and this is just another reason why I am thoroughly disgusted with GOPRO and the entire lineup of cameras, pole sticks, batteries and other accessories that make this the worst season for my business. I need dependable equipment and this product is defective in every way possible.9. I inspected the inside of the camera and indeed the battery contact point is burned, likely due the battery over heating the unit.10. I would have provided a picture of the area but cell phone image is not able to see clearly. So, unless you plan to use the HERO9 once a month do not buy this camera.
