Great tool for dead battery with trickle charge function
I bought two of these chargers, one for my golf cart and one for my car. I am so glad I did. Both of my vehicles are not driven very often, so my batteries have completely discharged more than once, and ultimately always needed replacement. I purchased these for a really good price, so it was worth a try, score biting the bullet and buy new batteries yet again. They are really easy to use, and you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to make them work. The battery clamps are easy to attach, which is a big plus for me. I suffer from RA, and this has caused some stiffness in my hands, and loss of strength. You really don’t need a lot of strength to put these clamps on the battery terminals. It’s as easy as pie, so to speak ;-) I put the setting on them on 12V repair mode first, and let them do its work for several hours, before trying to start my vehicles. The car and the golf cart both, started immediately and without problems, after the chargers had cycled through the repair mode, and now I leave them on my vehicles permanently to trickle charge, when they are not in use. This was a really good purchase that saved me money and a lot of headaches. I highly recommend this product.

Revived my extremely dead 12v battery
Due to long periods of neglect my battery went to levels I didn't know were possible (3.7v). So, it came down to the point where a jump-start was required every single time I shut off my car as that would jolt the voltage high enough to switch over to my 2 aux batteries, with the length of time increasing every time. The 'repair' function didn't do anything other than beep and tell me the battery is funked, but did raise the voltage to 5.29v although it took 48-51 hrs. On the bright side, it seemed to stop drawing power to attempt charging once it threw up the warning of not holding a charge, but drew enough power to beep until the end of time. So, that's a cool feature. At least it seems to know when it's doing something that is inefficiently working, where any continuation won't do anyone any good and stop itself. "smart" charger for sure. Since the intended use for this product it's low-amp trickle charging and not the "repair" mode, I popped off the battery caps and refilled each one with distilled water mixed with a dash of epsom salt, clamped the correct battery posts, set mode to normal (the first one), confirmed current output (~1.5A) from power source, and prayed that this works or look stubbornly stupid. A day and a half later, the battery measured 12.1v. More importantly, even though there's some hesitation, the car turns on by itself! After charging 2-3 times overnight, the battery seems fully grown (12.9v) and has had no problems turning over with voltage holding around 14.1-14.3 , occasionally dropping to as low as 13.5 if I'm running electronics that suck a lot like headlights, the sound system, 10A charger for generator, 2A charger for phone, etc But even when put under that much stress at any speed, there's no headlights dimming, car rumbling down, head banging on steering wheel so yahtzee! it works! I'm not sure if this speaks to the quality of the charger or the battery for bringing it back from the point most people (including the 'repair mode' message) would buy a new battery-which isn't wrong by any means. I would've bought a new battery myself if I didn't have to choose between that and food. Damn cheese is expensive. But thanks to the quality products offered by HULKMAN and battery by Dyno (yay USA), you made it possible for me to have my cake and eat it too. Even though there are countless other companies that I could've chosen, it seems I made the right call choosing you [pikachu]! Thanks HULKMAN (somewhere on earth, probably China) and Dyno Battery (Seattle, WA).

Multifunctional; Easy to Use(clamps?)
Overall, this is a nice charger. It has multiple options to choose from depending on what type of battery you have or how you intend to use it. My only complaint is the terminal clamps are too big or thick for the terminals on my motorcycle battery. I can get them to clip on but just barely. And if the cord or battery is moved the clips come off. Given this type charger is a big recommended charger for motorcycle batteries; the clamps should be more "needle-nose" like so they can securely clamp onto the battery terminals. Someone needs to remember that motorcyclists use these type of products a lot because of winter storage. Therefore, the design of the clamps should be such that they EASILY AND SECURELY attach to any and all motorcycle batteries. Aside from the clamps, the charger itself is easy to use and easy to read.

Grate little trickle charger with a big punch!
This trickle charger has saved my almost 7 year old optima yellow top battery that had depleted to 8.4 volts! I first tried the 12v agm charge after 2hrs it said battery bad, then tried 12v repair, again after 2 hrs said battery bad. So said to myself why not try repair one more time if it stops in 2hrs (which it did and said bad battery) i would have the full 4hrs total of repair mode. After the failed repair mode attempts i put it on 12v agm again and this time i stopped charging at 8hrs and at 12.2v and did repair mode again. This time it did the full 4hrs but at the end said bad battery. I put on 12v agm and let it charge 24hrs to 12.8v and tried repair mode again and finally it did not say bad battery! I put it on 12v agm to full charge, took another 18hrs. After fully charged i did another repair mode. Picture is 8hrs off the charger. My optima holds a charge for at least a week!(how long its been) Time and time again i have heard trickle charge to save old depleted and solfated batterys is the only way, i think the 32ah rating for this charger is under rated and is for thoughs who dont understand battery charging do's and do not's, safty, and things to keep an eye on, and also that trickle charging can and will take a long time. I have put this thing to the test and it performed flawless and exceded my expectations of saving an optima yellow top and is a grate tool in my garage. Not only did it save my yellow top but also saved my riding lawnmower battery as well, along with charged up my 65ah motorcraft battery, with prices of batteries these days it has saved me 10 times the amount i paid for it and is a must have! I also have the Hulkman 85 jump pack, i used on the optima yellow top to start my 6.8L v10 ford 350 several times. Do wish the sigma 1 charger manual had more info in it, that is something i hope hulkman addresses, but its nothing google cant help with. Do keep in mind this is a 9 month ownership review. I do expect these products to last a long time with the grate quality and experience i have had. Hulkman is a grate company with great quality products!

A Lifesaver for My Car
I recently purchased the HULKMAN Sigma 1 Car Battery Charger during a Black Friday sale, and let me tell you, it has been a game-changer for me. Originally priced at $50, I snagged this fantastic charger for less than $15, making it an absolute steal. I've been dealing with persistent battery issues in my vehicle, and this charger has proven to be the solution I needed. - - - -Right out of the box, the HULKMAN Sigma 1 impressed me with its versatility. Not only does it serve as a regular battery charger, but it also includes cables for use as a trickle charger. This feature turned out to be incredibly handy for maintaining my battery between uses. - - - -Using the charger was a breeze, even for someone who isn't particularly savvy with car gadgets. The initial setup was straightforward, and I only needed to refer to the manual once during my first use. Once plugged into the wall and connected to the battery, the device emitted a series of loud beeps prompting me to select between a 6v or 12v battery for charging. This user-friendly interface ensured that even beginners like me could navigate through the settings effortlessly. - - - -One notable aspect of the HULKMAN Sigma 1 is its intelligence. After the initial battery voltage selection, the charger remembers your preference and doesn't bother you with unnecessary alerts during subsequent uses. This hands-off approach is convenient and adds to the overall user experience. - - - -The charger's performance has been stellar, consistently delivering a reliable charge to my vehicle's battery. I appreciate the peace of mind it provides, knowing that my car will start reliably, especially during cold weather or after prolonged periods of inactivity.

Quality instrument
This is a very nice and easy to use tool in improving battery health. It is doing its thing as I write this review. Started at 1 bar and is on the 4th bar after 3 hrs 15 min. Right on target according to the manual. The unit does not heat up beyond what one would expect in a 95 degree three car Florida garage. Hopefully, it is restoring a battery that gets very little use…only 3800 miles on a 2018 Camry LE. The battery tests as good and rechargeable. It registered 12.0 volts initially . We’ll see what tomorrow’s reading indicates. I have a feeling this one is a winner. Unfortunately, Amazon’s packaging was its usual awful plastic,no bubble wrap even, to protect an electrical tool. It is utter stupidity and such a cavalier attitude on the part of some of Amazon’s shipping centers to show zero concern for what our hard earned money purchases from them when it comes to protecting the contents of our purchases. I am so close to cancelling Prime because of this poor performance on the part of fulfillment centers. Product excellent; Amazon shipping terrible….repeatedly.

Helpful addition to maintaining batteries during storage/winter.
Review of HULKMAN Sigma 1 Car Battery Charger, 1A 6V/12V Automatic Smart Trickle Charger, Battery Maintainer, and Desulfator with Intelligent Interface I ordered this mainly to keep my lawn tractor’s battery charged during the winter months. I can switch it out easily as needed to other batteries. It has a battery “repair” function that supposedly helps to re-energize older batteries. I have 2 vehicles and both have older batteries, so I will probably try this on both of them. It has multiple settings for various types of batteries, including lithium. The cords are plenty long. It comes with clamps and ends that can be attached using the batteries’ bolts. It provides a nice little read out of the trickle charge too and it’s easy to see. I did find the mode switching to be slightly funky sometimes. All-in-all, worthwhile so far. Hope this helps someone decide.
