Fits big thighs, band included
Super cute, and very comfortable. I love that these come with the band to hold them up, as the knit material these socks are made of would not stay up on its own. Easy to adjust the bands and they stay put rather well. They fit my big thighs well, height actually comes up to my thigh and stays up. They feel like decent quality and I think these are a good value.

Super cute and warm!
Super comfy and love that they fit my thighs. All the way up. They do slip a little bit so def use the thigh straps to secure them. Great price and worth it. I looked super cute!

Best option out there so far, far from perfectโฆ
Before starting, Iโve written a few reviews of socks like these and some elements are copy/pasted, but this review *is* unique to this product. As someone with larger features who wears a lot of thigh high socks in a ribbed athletic knit from a couple of the big brands out there, and who has experience with five of these TT clones from four different Amazon stores, these are near the top but arenโt without shortcomings. First, when you unbox them (especially if youโre familiar with the straight tube of mainstream brands and rumors these plus size thigh highs that flooded the market are baggy at the ankles) youโll have some anxiety about the weird bag and taper near the ankle. This is actually a good thing and is part of a redesign to make them tighter at the ankle. Figure 1a and 1b (ignore the arrow for now) shows that while the loose sock is lumpy and very weird, on the leg it is smooth with no bagginess. Thereโs direct and indirect natural lighting to illustrate how the dye reacts. Plus. Second, they are looser than mainstream thigh highs which is a mixed bag. I really appreciated not having to wrestle myself into them. Theyโre easy on and easy off, and went all the way up to my groin (5โ10โ height). Being less tight means theyโre less snug however and tend to slide down. I put the sock on one leg to go out to the patio and capture Figure 1, and between there and bringing the board back inside, they were already sliding down. Figure 2 illustrates how much they slid down in this very brief period compared to where they were at the start. This is quite a bit of motion so soon, but not the worst Iโve experienced with a different competitor on the market. Iโm (24โ) on the low end of plus size thigh circumference rated in the description (27โ) so I may not have had enough volume to fill them out and generate good tension to keep them up. Plus and Minus. I never used the garter belt, but it appeared identical to the garters Iโd received from the other three brands Iโve used. I also know how they work, theyโll give some holding power but at the cost of an unsightly bulge where the garters are, and a lack of real options for how wide youโd like to make the cuff. In my experience your best results for function will come from a 1โ cuff with the socks folded twice over the garter, but that makes it a thick ring. I prefer a 2 or 3โ cuff, but when the garter slides (and it will slide) itโll mangle your cuff and be difficult to โjust pull back up.โ Iโve used the garters before with other socks. Iโm sorry I didnโt use them on this pair for this review. But I already know how theyโll perform. Theyโll do the job, but are kind of a pain. **PRO TIP** I managed to get the same hold-up performance without using the garter belts. Find some of your scratchiest, poorest quality pantyhose. You know the kind, the ones that already have those horizontal lines and defects right out of the โegg.โ Like 100% nylon with no lycra, a dull finish, and no glossy sheen or silky smoothness. Wear those underneath and put the socks over top. The roughness of the pantyhose makes a good surface for the socks to get traction and the frictional forces help hold them up better than if they just slid down your smooth leg or smoother higher quality tights. This option still had some sliding down, but no more than I have gotten *with* the garter belts (Note: referring to typical garter performance on other brands - Moon Wood wasnโt tested explicitly with belts here), and the result was a more comfortable wear and smoother appearance. Figures 3a and 3b demonstrate average sag using rough pantyhose with *no* garter belts. They occasionally need pulled back up, but typically only fell as low as shown throughout the day. The only point I got them down to my knees involved running down a hallway pushing a deep freezer. Iโll give them a pass under high impact performance. Letโs do some comparisons. In Figure 4 we have Moon Woodโs Mustard Yellow alongside Competitor Aโs burgundy and Competitor Bโs fuchsia. I had found Competitor Bโs sock to be pretty decent in most metrics, but extremely wrinkled (still have not gotten these wrinkles out, btw), and so soft and smooth they were silky against the leg. Silky = slippery and very hard to keep up. Both Competitor Aโs and Moon Woodโs were not so velvety and tended to stay up better than Competitor B. Note the line highlighted by the arrow in Fig 4. Every pair of this type of plus size TT clone Iโve gotten from Amazon has a line between the knee and the ankle. It could be from flat packing, but the socks in shipment are not vacuum sealed and are bundled quite loosely without a hard crease. I suspect it has something to do with the construction and changing the compression along the leg so to avoid the โbaggy sweatpants anklesโ common to early versions of these socks on the market. Competitor Bโs sock still had the crease when itโs worn on the leg. Moon Wood also has it, but itโs much less prominent than Competitor B; unfortunately, Competitor Aโs line was almost invisible when worn on the leg (not pictured). With Moon Wood, the line is still quite visible on the leg (Revisit Fig 1b, arrow). This is a minus against some of the competition, but pretty common in my experience. Moon Wood is still near the top, but not everything is great. The socks had a few quality control and manufacturing errors. I found a misplaced stitch on a knee (Fig 5a) thatโs not overtly noticeable without making close scrutiny, and it can probably be relocated to the inside by pulling the thread tight and leaving the loose loop on the inner surface. Whatโs much more obvious is the very loose thread near the top of the sock which is right in the middle of the cuff on the front side (Fig 5b). Itโs front and center and unless I take care to fold it inside the cuff, itโs an obvious defect that will draw attention. I didnโt notice until this review, but itโs also in the shot for Figure 2, left inset. While I boasted of Competitor Aโs better handling of โthe line,โ it was also loaded with quality defects much more egregious than Moon Wood. Moon Wood is better, but that these flaws are present at all is still a minus. Even if they were perfect, these socks might be worth their listing price at $18 USD. But when they bear these quality control issues that should ordinarily classify them as โirregularsโ and are sold as a premium product, thatโs a disappointment; and Moon Woodโs asking price of $18 is a little steep for what they deliver. Minus. All in all, despite these flaws Moon Wood is in the Top 2 of producers Iโve tried. Between Moon Wood and Competitor A, I would probably *choose* to buy from Competitor A again (and actually did), but in practice would most likely buy from Moon Wood because they have more color options and Iโve gotten every variant I would want already offered by Competitor Aโs limited selection. My advice, buy. But keep an eye on the listings and hold out for a deep discount or coupon closer to $10 than $18 for a better value ratio. I hope this review is complete and helpful to anyone unsure of where to buy. Happy thigh highs! The Good: - Holds up better than other brands - Thigh garters provided - Soft, comfortable wear - Easy to put on and take off - Varied color selection The Bad: - Holding up better does not equal โholds up wellโ - A bit overpriced, consideringโฆ The Ugly: - โฆQuality control and irregular manufacturing defects present

Perfect for Velma costumes
These fit so good. They were soft and breathable. They went so well with my costume and everyone complimented how they matched my sweater perfectly. Nice and thick, thy kept me warm through the cold front. Definitely worth the price. I loved the strap that made them slip resistant. They stayed up all night.

Great!
Fit my thighs well. I am very appreciative of these because I have thicker thighs about 35 in around and they are comfy. They slip down a bit but come with garters, I use the non slip tape. They look super cute though so definitely worth it!

Too long, but comfy and warm
Returned due to them being too large, but they were super comfy! I am 5โ 6โ, 245lbs with very thick thighs, but smaller calves. These went all the way up to my underwear line and might as well have been full length stockings versus thigh highs. I tried rolling them down, but then they looked weird so I did end up returning the item. They were super soft, and knitted, so I am very sad to return them.

Would buy again and again!
Super plus size friendly !!! Iโm a size 18 in pants . They do roll down but there are straps that you can wrap around ur thigh so the socks do not roll down . I am not a fan of the straps , they are not comfortable for my fit , but itโs honestly works . Itโs just not comfortable, instead I got adhesive ( or u can get tape ) and itโs more comfy , in my opinions . Other than that , the socks are very warm , great material , and stretch friendly! Would recommend if you a thicker ๐
