The Best Of David Gray

I was expecting all the songs to be his best, but they weren’t so I guess I was a little disappointed in that way. Too bad we can’t put our own choices . That’s how it goes good and sort of good~ He is amazing~ New stuff is even better if that’s possible. I will look for his collections to come…

Really just awesome all around album…..sound quality and consistency from track to track was excellent…..just a pleasure to listen to!

Great condition & in timely fashion

First, I love this music, not my issue.I rip all my music then donate the CDs. I always rip at 320 kbps.Both discs in this set had major issues with the last few songs. I use MediaMonkey for everything and these 2 CDs drove MM nuts trying to rip them. No, cleaning them didn't help. I then ripped using Nero which was a big improvement, don't ask me why. The recordings were still unacceptable so I complained to Amazon, who were kind enough to replace the 2 CD set. Thanx Amazon!However, the replacements CDs were better but still poor on the same few songs. I finally decided to drop the bitrate on just the bad songs down to 256 kbps & presto, they were great, using Nero again.So, you rippers out there, be advised.One small note about the actual music....Way too much finger noise on CD2, Track 15, Shine. DG must be a smoker.

How can you not like anything by David Gray? He's genius. This talented writer is highly skilled at singing too :) If you listen closely, you can hear that these "Best of" songs have been remixed a bit. Absolutely love the new sound. The two new songs Enter Lightly and Smoke Without Fire blend in well and speak volumes of his ever evolving music.. This is a great CD for the car and you can't beat the price. Currently, Spotify is streaming David Gray with a changing track list depending on the most trending songs. Very cool.

Free digital download scratched the D Side of this record, which is a bummer, but it is only a small pop on one track. Otherwise the press sounds good.

I should've read the description about the vinyl. Not the same tracks as the CD. Would've loved to listen to Nemesis live on vinyl as well as Birds of the High Arctic. Still great songs and great music. Just not the same tracks I was hoping for and that's on me.

I know i mainly and nearly always purchase Cd format. and was what i expected to be delivered today. i regret to say that i now have to purchase this Cd Album once again and as a result of this happening, i shall seek purchases elsewhere and seems HMV can help me with this.

Love this albumI have always listened to records so never had the opportunity to own it on record until now !Although a rather cheesy album its nice and easy to listen to !When i bought this on amazon , the tracking stated from italy I don't know if its an import but nothing on record/sleeve suggests it is !

If you are a David Gray fan - then you probably have most of these tunes already however it is a great album and really good to have a wide selection of his great tunes in one place.

Been waiting on something like this to be released for a while. Glad it’s out. Some of his best songs on it. Great present for myself :)
