A cost effective alternative to Godhand
Let me preface that by all mean these are not on the same level as Godhand but for their price, I paid $15, they do a decent job cutting and leaving very little stress marks on the pieces which can easily be sanded down and polished out. Placement of the nippers is important too...if you angle them incorrectly and not keep the blade flush against the piece you’ll either leave large stress marks or take a chunk out of your piece. The one other striking characteristic of these nippers is that they are highly durable! Unlike Godhand which can easily chip or the tips of the blades can break...Valtcan nippers can take a beating. The cutting blade though can be a bit sharper and thinner for a cleaner cut something that I suggested to Valtcan. These are better then Mr Nippers and most other nippers except Godhand but do beat Godhand in durability though. Overall for the price that I paid, a 1/3 of the price of Godhand, they do a decent job on my Gundam kits. I believe if Valtcan improves the quality of their products they’ll give Godhand the run for their money!

Best bang for the buck!!
Just to start I have god hand nippers and wanted to give these nippers a try. These are not as sharp as god hands but are sturdier and cut better than most nippers in the same price range. I mainly use these nippers for gunpla and have not had any issues or complaints about these nippers. To compare the design of these nippers are very similar to the god hands and cut just as good. These nippers leave little to no nuns to clean. It does leave a little bit of stress marks but no nipper out on the market doesn’t. I highly recommend these nippers to anyone new or even pro molders.

Comparison to God Hand nippers
I got these as I love the God Hand but have broken two pairs already, and at $50 a pop that isn't happy. These looked similar and were about 25% less so I decided to give them a try. On first view they are similar in shape, size and quality. However, there is one difference; the God Hand has one blade, cutting against a block, and this has two blades. However, these do trim parts very similar to the God Hand; if you cut a sprue with these you will get a straight cut. If you cut parts off correctly, like the God Hand, you'll be able to use the part with little or no trimming. However, it is easier to get that clean, flat cut with the God Hand, at least so far. Like the God Hand, the jaws are fairly compact and not easy to get into tight spaces. I don't know yet how they'll do over time, but I would recommends that like the God Hand, use the sleeve provided to protect the blades, and don't use them to cut thick sprue or to trim parts. I'd say use them in situations up to 3/16" sprues. I'm using them in conjunction with the God Hand and Xuron nippers I already have. However, to compare them to the very expensive and delicate God Hands is a little unfair. If you have been using Xuron or similar nippers thinking these are top of the line, buy a set of these. You'll think you've died and gone to modeler's heaven! They are so far superior to Xuron.

Amazing performance , No gouging and easy to use.
For the last year I've been using citadel snippers and lately I started noticing that after a cut I would get ridiculous gouging on vitrually every rounded sprue joint especially on the elbow pads and thrusters a space marines backpack. I bought these after seeing an ad and I'm completely amazed. Cuts are precise and clean up after is trivial. Make sure to get a set of bigger snippers for the sprue points on tactical rocks tho because the cutting radius has some difficulties on bigger sprue points.

Not bad but won't blow you away either
These are the nicest nippers I own... beside the God Hand SPN-120. They will serve you well if you're just getting started in model making or if you're not too much of a perfectionist with your builds. It is entirely possible and feasible to put together an ultra clean build using these - the only difference is that you may have to do a bit more sanding than normal. With that being said, if you were like me and scoured the net trying to find a comparison of these between the God Hand SPN-120 then let me help you by saying this; if you can swing the $50-ish dollars then the God Hand are definitively better, HOWEVER, if you're looking for a primary nipper and do not have another set for cutting pieces off the runners then get the Valtcan Prime. They are sturdy enough to make mindful cuts off the runners but thin enough that they won't butcher the piece you're working on unlike the Bandai or other lower-end nippers.I hope this helps!

Perfect for beginners
I bought these for my newfound gunpla addiction (thanks quarantine). I had a pair of stock nippers that came with my toolkit, but they left lots of noticable nub marks. I bought this to remedy that situation and they did not disappoint! These babies cut through plastic like butter and are an amazing, affordable alternative to the more expensive pairs on the market. They won't completely eliminate nub marks, but they definitely make them minimal and easy for a quick touch-up!

Comparable to and clean cutting
Comparable with Tamiya side cutters. Cuts through sprues cleanly leaving little to nothing on the part.

Best sprue nipper I've owned
for the money this nipper is hard to beat. I looked at the God-hand nipper and seen head to head reviews and nothing compelled me to believe that it deserved the $55 premium. The only other one that can compare is the Gundam Planet nipper but that always appears out of stock. I've built several models with this nipper already and it saves so much time because I can get up to the part and create a flush cut almost every time (caveat is if the part is curved, then I have to pull out the x-acto knife). I'm very pleased with these nippers, the build quality is very high, they feel substantial in your hands, the pouch to keep them in is an added bonus and much appreaciated. I would recommend these without reservation to anyone who loves building plastic models, and will buy another pair for my kids so they don't try to steal mine.
