Waterproof, Bright, Portable, 3 Colors, Winner
I have tried several Lithonia LED lights and they have another winner with this outdoor rated light. It is easy to to open up the housing to wire and setup color temp plus brightness. By opening the hinges the top cover comes off. You will remove the top panel which has all the LEDs mounted to it. With the top cover removed you may see the inner workings of this light fixture. You will wire up Green, White, Black wires plus setup the switches to choose between the 3 color temps and 3 brightness settings. It comes with two brackets to hang it up outdoors. It is really bright and a plus is to be able to adjust the color temp to your liking. Make sure to get Liquidtight fitting and conduit in order to maintain a water proof light. I am currently using it as a portable light which I can move around the garage to add more lighting depending on which area I am working in. The light is completely enclosed and feels well made. It’s the reason I have confidence in moving it around. Thank you for taking the time to read my review of this product. Works as expected, decent design. Wire fitting only worked on plastic bushing
Adjustable brightness, and color temperature. Nice sturdy sealed enclosure, with clip mounts so no holes for moisture to enter. The lens can be opened and hung on two of the mounting hooks. The only complaint I think is the bushing uses what looks like standard threads, but metal fitting would not screw in. Got a plastic fitting then it worked. Has an option for a 0-10V dimmer too, but did not use it. Wire hookup includes 3 wire nuts, a quick disconnect, and a pair of wago-like stab-on connectors. Not sure why the hot and neutral have a quick connect and wagos allow extra connections in and out or more options but if that is the case why were they not bagged with the wingnuts? Some of the other wiring for the switch module etc is a bit messy though nothing I have not seen before. Not usually an issue just need to make sure it is tucked away when you close the figure up. Though ziptie or something to clean this up would be nice.

Two out three
Bought three for licensed electrician to install. He’s done a lot of work on a remodel and very up to date on lighting. All three were getting power but only one lighted. Moved LED strip from working to non working and two would not light. Bad drivers on two out of three? Wasted his time and my money. Ordered same lights as replacements from HD, hoping they have non defective stock.

Plastic clips
PLASTIC clips??.... On an outdoor-rated item? At least it's durably made. But it's going to fall apart in a couple years.

Nice looking industrial style fixture w/ adjustable color temp.
Great overall, looks nice and its easy to install. Color temperature can be adjusted between 3500k and 5000k, so you can get a nice soft light from this fixture as well as cold daylight white, if you're one of those people who are into the morgue look. Quality is good - plastic - but the installation brackets could definitely be better. They're a little flimsy and have a tendency to bend a little. So make sure to handle them gingerly during the installation and you'll be fine. The brackets are for mounting this fixture to the wall or a ceiling. There is no pull chain or switch - its just a standard plug. So you'll need to have it connected to a switch of some sort in order to turn it on and off without having to unplug it every time. Overall, its perfect for the new art studio we put in above the workshop. Its not the most powerful light, but for our needs its just right.

Very nice led strip light, but the hangers need an update
This led fixture is clearly a descendent of the 4 foot fluorescent light we are all familiar with. Same channel construction, made of light gauge steel pre-painted white. The cover for the channel snaps on same as always, except now this cover has a string of leds from end to end. This fixture is tolerant of damp/wet locations so it is fully enclosed in a polycarbonate case and cover. The cover is secured with five over-center clamps on each side. The two end clamps on one side can be retained in the cover, allowing the cover to hang from these two clamps when opened. Obviously no relamping needed here, but you might want to reach the side of the metal channel where there are two 3 position switches. One switch selects from three color temperatures, and the other selects from three brightness levels. The internal construction appear high quality. The channel cover, with the leds on it, is easily disconnected by releasing a pair of sockets. There are more wires here than you’d find in a fluorescent, more than you might expect actually. The led controller looks similar to a ballast, but there’s also a separate small module with the brightness/color switches. Then there’s a pair of super long wires that can be used for optional external dimming, using a standard 10v strategy. The wiring and especially the connectors are very high quality. For the incoming 120v power the mating connector is supplied. The connector has provisions for two each black and neutral wires, just strip and stuff the end into the connector and it locks, which allows for easy daisy chaining of these fixtures. The ground wire is a pigtail, so you’ll have a use for one of the three wire nuts that is included with the fixture. The wire access hole is a standard 1/2” pipe thread, oddly I found it too tight for directly attaching a romex clamp but it was fine for the more tapered thread of a cord clamp. With the led channel cover removed and the channel on its back on your workbench, the wire placement looks like a rat’s nest. The channel is narrow, much like you’d expect on a single tube fluorescent, and the wires are loose and floppy with no sign that anyone dressed the cabling. It appears getting the cover on without pinching wires shouldn’t be too hard, but once you install the fixture all of this mess is drooping down and it is much harder. I’d suggest taking the time to properly organize the cables before installing the fixture. The plastic fixture housing is held to a horizontal surface by a pair of stainless steel brackets. They are quite thin and easily bent, and I think they are insufficient for the job. The brackets mount with a pair of #8 screws on each, brackets spaced about 32” apart. Spacing isn’t fussy as the plastic fixture tub has about 3” formed landing area for them. The fixture simply snaps into the bracket, unfortunately it falls out just about as easily. Even after bending each bracket to improve the grip on the fixture, when closing the over-center cover latches the horizontal force was enough to disengage the fixture. Mounted to a ceiling seems ok since there’s no lateral force but I don’t think you could mount this fixture to a wall, not with these mounting brackets. The lamp functions without a flaw. The color and brightness selectors are a neat feature, and at a glance the fixture appears as the equivalent of a 48” two tube fluorescent. While the sloppy internal wiring is just a workmanship issue, the mounting brackets are not sufficient for the fixture in my opinion. Currently they are thin and springy and easily bent, perhaps making them from thicker material would be sufficient. If you want to wall mount this fixture I think you’d need an entirely different mounting strategy. In summary this is a nice quality light, if you use liquidtight connectors you’ll be all set for wet locations. Component quality looks excellent, a bit sloppy on the wiring assembly. It loses one star for the poorly executed mounting strategy.

Sturdy and well-made
- Made in USA We have a number of other LL lighting products and this one is working great along with all the others. Good seal, easy to work with, and plenty bright. We're using it in our home wood shop, in the stain room. Solid fixture, good design, suitable for many applications
This is my first Lithonia fixture, but I'm fairly impressed. It is definitely a step up from the old fluorescent fixtures! While you can't change the bulbs, you probably won't need to, either. And no humming or flickering! As for the body, it seems vapor tight and is not flimsy. All of the parts seem to fit well together and has the feel of a better than average fixture. The cover can be hung from the clips so you can adjust the temperature and brightness of the light, though for me that is a one time setting so less useful. A dimmer can be attached to the light but again, for my needs not necessary. It is bright enough for sure to replace fluorescent lights and you will be happy if you do. I found the hangars suitable if not stellar. Application wise, this works well in a garage, greenhouse, barn, tack room, tool shed, or pool house. I imagine there are many other similar applications as well. Be aware that this is a fixture, not a light, so it will need to be wired in. However, if you like clips it comes with a number of clip-to-connect options inside. Overall this fixture is recommended!
