Works great for NON- PWM fans.
I use this to control 8 fans on my external water cooling radiators. Works great. Great price and fast delivery. Is well made and sturdy. The single knob makes it easy for me to set my preferred fan speed and keep the noise to a minimum.

Do not buy
This item is a total loss. The fans move at inconsistent speeds. The other thing is you need to max out the speed to get the fans to start spinning at boot up to begin with. Great idea but manufactured to be total garbage.

8 fan hub as described
This unit can accommodate 3 pin and 4 pin fans. I imagine 2 pins would also work, but I didn't try one.The one knob regulates their speed. Worked flawlessly for my needs.

Low Watt Fans ONLY!
If you are buying this for fans that need 30W-60W channels this is definitely not the controller you are looking for! So if you are running fans that push 240 CFM this is going to be a serious waste of your time, money, and fans potential. If you are just running cheap fans with low wattage this will work fine.

Works as advertised
Used this to build a gaming rig. It was nice to have something I can plug all of my fans into neatly and be able to control the speed at the same time. Doesn’t seem to have too much juice behind it but just enough.

Does NOT output a PWM signal on the signal line, it only PWM's the 12vdc Power.
This board does not output a low voltage PWM signal on the 4 wire fan PWM pin. All this board does is PWM (pulses) the output DC power to the fan. Which is usually not good for PWM fans made to be controlled by their internal speed controller using a PWM signal. This board is more for 3 wire fans only.

Not bad, not great
Arrived with the pins on 3 fan headers bent pretty badly. Not surprised since it was shipped in a cardboard box with no protective materials. Not a big deal since I only needed 2 headers anyway. Horrible bright red led on the board that serves no purpose. Plugging 2 fans into a single channel (there are 4 channels on the board, each with 2 headers) appears to halve the power each fan gets, so really only good for 4 total fans. Speed control isn't very granular, seems to only be off, half, full. Otherwise it works well enough for what I wanted it for.

Inexpensive but also cheaply made. Buy something better and save the headache.
I thought the price was maybe a bit too good to be true. Seemed like this was going to be perfect for what I need but I got it all hooked up and two of my fans weren't on. I went back to the card and disconnected and reconnected everything to make sure it was right and the sata port was loosely soldered (you could easy move it with your finger one one end of it). I guess it's possibly fixable but since I bought this to power some not cheap fans I'll just get higher quality items next time.

It works
Did I miss it?Does it say in descriptions that this card will not fit above PCI card slot?It is designed to occupy an entire PCI-Express slot without actually connecting to it.PCI is little bit higher than the PCI-Express.Card's printboard pushes against the upper edge of PCI and will not allow mounting.Thankfully, this device's schematic is very basic and clean-careful removal of port 8 (or port 1?) did not affect functionality.

Not a true PWM fan speed controller
Not a true PWM fan speed controller. No PWM output signal. Appear to just control fan speed by changing output voltage. Controller did not work for my bigger fans but did work for small ones.
