Simple but effective device
I severely injured my thumb over the Summer. Since I still experience some pain and stiffness, I had given up hope that it would completely heal. I've been using the thumb exerciser for about two months and my thumb feels stronger. I have a wider range of motion than before. While it may not effect a complete restoration, I'm confident that the exercises are helpful.

A Great Physical Therapy Aide
I had an operation for trigger thumb. I found this devise to help me exercise the first joint in my thumb to bend. At first, I had trouble placing the rubber bands on the right end to achieve the correct tension for each exercise I was doing. Eventually, I had to readjust the tension because the first position of the bands had grown too easy for me. I am happy to report that I can bend the joint with total ease now. If you have had finger surgery or you have arthritis in a finger or hand, this may be an effect devise to use.

A Smart At-Home Therapy Solution
After having hand surgery and starting physical therapy, I learned that my insurance wasn’t covering my therapy sessions. With guidance from my therapist, I purchased the same tools she used so I could continue my therapy at home. This allowed me to reduce the number of in-person visits, which saved me a significant amount of time and money. Even though I completed physical therapy six months ago, I still use this product occasionally to maintain strength and mobility. It was a smart investment and well worth it.

Cheaply made
Cheap materials. Once the rubber bands bands break it won't be very useful
