It can vary from each lot as the size of strawberries can change, but generally one ounce is equal to about 1 cup, sometimes closer to 1 1/2 cups.

For those who have baked these. How are they used to add to frosting baked goods, do they need rehydrating?

I run them through a food processor until it’s basically a powder. Then I use a sifter to remove the seeds. It’s better to add dry ingredients so you aren’t adding extra liquid to your frosting. I recommend looking at the strawberry cake recipe on Sally’s Baking Addiction. She uses dehydrated strawberries in the frosting.
