Great sediment filter

Seem to be working well, no pressure drop.

For 20 years I used the kind of filters the original owners had used when we bought the house - those string-wound, 5- micron filters. I figured they were fine, our well water tasted good, no complaints except that we constantly got a build up of some kind of blueish sediment in the shower. When the store ran out of them about a year ago, I tried these. Not only a great price, but the 1-micron filtering totally eliminated the blue crud buildup in the showers. Excellent.

I need these filters because my house has a well. It seems to do a good job. I replace it every 2 months because of the sediment that has accumulated on it. And they are very reasonably priced.

I have a sediment problem with my well for a number of years. Used many different filters over time some with good results and longevity. I am completely happy with these. The low micron size has made a significant improvement and I will continue to use them as long as their quality remains the same.

I have been using these filters for a few years now. They work great for my well water. My well has a lot of sediment that in it and these filters really improve the clarity and smell of my water. They fit my filter housing perfectly. I have to change them about once a month but all filters I have tried had to be changed that often due to the sediment in my water.
