Installed for a month and no issues. Filter is removing the iron as noted per manufacturer. Easy install using shark bite type connectors.

I’m using this Culligan Whole House Water Filter System for my ice machine, and it works great! The water is noticeably cleaner, and my ice comes out crystal clear without any odd taste. Excellent high quality filter system. This is heavy duty compared to others at the same price from big box stores. The fittings are of high quality, the filter is larger than most other systems with a 3/4" inlet. The only reason for not rating it 5 stars is that there are only 4 screws included, which are used to attach the mounting plate to the unit, so there are no screws left to attach the mounting plate to the wall.

I bought this water filter, and it has been an excellent investment. The water now tastes much cleaner and fresher, with no strange odors or flavors. You can notice the difference right from the very first use—especially when drinking water and cooking. Installation was quick and simple, and the materials feel high-quality. Plus, it gives me greater peace of mind regarding the water my whole family consumes. Why buy this?: I live in an area that has wonderful water that is very clean and tastes good. I put this filter in my home because my house sits at the low point in the system, and during the winter months when they have to shut the above ground lines down, I'm also the end of the line for the system. Every water system will have valves, etc. rust and even biological contaminates in them. This filter and housing are perfect for removing those particulates and helps with scaling in appliances. Does it work?: Yes it does. I have no more particulate getting caught in the screen for my washing machine for example. It didn't reduce the water pressure in my home either. I saw that as a concern while researching whole house water filters and it did not. I have a pressure reducer coming into the house as well, that I installed the filter after in the water line, and no change in pressure. Easy to install?: Could be. I watched the install video on Amazon and read the directions. What can make the install super easy is two things. 1. Buy SharkBite fittings. They have them on Amazon. Just make sure you buy the correct ones. Humans in hardware stores are great at finding the right ones for you. They are a bit pricier than standard fittings but well worth it. I put the SharkBite fittings on the filter housing first, so I had plenty of room (I installed the filter in a crawl space) and I could make sure the threads weren't crossed. Lastly, with SharkBite connections make sure you measure the distance between the connections on the filter twice (subtracting for the depth where the pipe slides into the connector) before cutting your water line. 2. Choose a spot in the line where you can give yourself a little room to play with. Then you basically slide the filter in place on the line. Prep took 10 minutes and install too 15. Zero issues, the easiest plumbing work I have ever done. The fives stars for the flavor rating are for the water, the filter and housing taste awful.

Bought this a few years ago and couldn't be more pleased. Changing the filter is simple. Here's a tip. If you have access to the shut off for your whole house, turn it off, flush toilet, change filter. No need to monkey around with relieving pressure on water filter.

This is a great setup and straightforward install on the wall. The one thing to pay really close attention to is threading pipe fittimgs into the housing as that female connection is plastic and pretty easily stripped. Rather than spend the money on a proper sized tap it was cheaper to buy another complete filter and complete the install. Hopefully this lasts as long as the previous house filter's 20+ year service life

Solid build. 4 stars only due to same as some others had complaint about threading issue. Mine encountered when screwing the 3/4 to 1/2 adapter on the outlet side. The adapter went in slanting. Take note of this, it's real.

Es un exclente portafiltro lo recomiendo, cumple muy bien con su funcion y es facilmde instalar, el unico pero quenle.encuentro es que no incluya la base para fijarlos y no hay en existencia. Pero cumple.connsu funcion y no le afecta solo haybque tener ingenio.

Defective. A crack in the wall of the output connection. Did not install immediately and so did not know until this week. The return window was already passed.

Easy to install. Remember to install ball valves at the inlet and outlet to have an effortless filter changing process. Purchase high quality filters. DISCLAIMER: Get a licensed plumber to install it to insure proper installation.
