Got my recliner working again!
This was the perfect replacement. Super easy to remove the old one and replace with this one. Perfect fit. More durable than the one it replaced. The original one was plastic and this one is metal. It was awesome to recline my chair again. My dogs thank you too for giving them back their seat for watching TV.

It lasts at least 2 years with normal use.
This was extremely easy to install and works great. I had to just order a second one after the last one started to not open the recliner properly after over 2 years of regular use. It is well worth the money.

Easy to install after watching YouTube
Informative demonstrations available on YouTube. The only thing we would add to YouTube info would be to Place a piece of colored tape on the spot where the lower end of cable connects. This is helpful when Distractions occur. Otherwise the metal handle and cable were easy to install. Also the cable end that hooks onto handle needs the outer casing pulled back about 1/2 “ so that cable will fit over pulley. My recliner is working perfectly now.

Really, It was this easy?
I bought a recliner a couple years back, and a year in the cable to the trigger of the recliner mechanism snapped. I investigated it, and found where the cable snapped, and just gave up on it. While redoing some home decor recently, I decided to revisit if the recliner could be saved. I found it could. This worked perfectly, and it was not hard at all. I'm reclined in it writing this review. Didn't take 10 minutes as advertised, a little learning curve, but the 2nd time it would though. Had it repairred in 20 minutes. Not rocket science. Very sturdy metal handle, great price, and can't beat less than $10 to save several hundred dollars on a new recliner. Well worth the purchase.
