How much porcelain paper clay (to be fired) will this make? I know the amount added can vary, but roughly? And shrinkage expected, roughly?

Hard question to answer...it depends on what you're making. I would suggest to get a copy of Rosette Gault's book "The New Ceramics Paperclay Art and Practice". Many good pictures to help understand how paperclay works. Well worth the money.

I want to use these to mold paper ornaments. How many 6" ornaments will one bag make?

I would think that the quantity of ornaments that you could make would depend on their size and the depth of the pulp once applied. I'm sorry I can't give you a definitive answer since there are so many variables. thanks for checking. Marie

Could i stir this into something and make my own watercolor ground? Acid free and all that?

I am not sure. After I make my mold I paint it with acrylic paint. My feeling for anything u do with this is to experiment with a small amount of the pulp.

What can i use so pulp wont stick to wood type

I use it with ceramic molds. I would suggest that u try spraying the wood with Pam or something equivalent to see if that works.
