I broke my ankle and have to wear a CAM boot, and I bought these and the BraceAbility socks. Between the two, I prefer these:- They go all the way to the knee (I'm 5'10)- They have different fabric types throughout the length of the sock, which is really nice. The foot part is like a normal sock, the length of the leg is a little thinner which helps for breathability (you get SO sweaty in those boots!) and the very top is nice stretchy material. When your leg is swollen from a break, this sock is really easy to get on without having to maneuver your foot too much!- So breathable. Your leg gets groooossss in those boots because of all the sweat, and these helped a lot.- No trouble with chafing or rubbing against the inside of the boot!- 2 pairs for $16 isn't great, but the BraceAbility socks were just 1 pair for $14, which is much better. And, assuming you didn't break both legs, you only have to wash these every 3-4 days. If you did break both legs.... god I'm sorryBetween all the available options, I'm glad I went with these :)

These are really great socks for walking boots. I have a broken foot and have been in a boot for months. These are the best boot socks I have found. They hold their shape well and they wash up well. The color does not fade and they are soft. They are very comfortable and are good value for the money.

I broke my ankle in May and was put in an air cast boot two weeks after surgery. At first I had a gauze and bandage wrap under the boot, but that was removed once the sutures were removed and the doctor said I could wear a sock under the boot liner to keep it from getting all dirty and sweaty.After trying a few different socks we had at home and finding them either too short, too itchy or too tight I started a search for socks to wear under my boot. These seemed to fit the bill so I placed an order.They are perfect!These socks have just the right amount of compression to make my foot/ankle feel supported but they're not so tight or restrictive that they hurt the tender skin around my incision.The length is perfect for the tall boot but not so long that they're over my knees. The top is loose and stretchy so even with wide calves they don't hurt or cut off circulation. I'm so glad I found these socks and highly recommend for anyone wearing a walking boot.

I got these socks for my mom to wear under her Arizona brace. They were very soft and helped cushion her leg, making the brace more comfortable to wear throughout the day.The fit was good, and they didn’t slide down. However, one of them started to tear after just a few washes, which was disappointing.They’re a good option for short-term use, but probably not the best if you need them to last through weeks of daily wear.

Excellent, don't fall down but aren't too tight. Never got smelly, lightweight so good for summer. Highly recommend.

I broke my foot and am wearing a boot. My feet are narrow and I was constantly readjusting the boot as it was slipping around my ankle. I purchased these socks and VOILA! The boot no longer slipped. My legs felt much better. They are lightweight and easy to get over an ankle wrap that the Dr. put on. They stretch easily to accommodate that ankle wrap and come up to the knees.The only thing is they do snag on the velcro that often catches when I put the boot on and off, but it does not affect the comfort, the wearability or the purpose of the sock. It massages the legs too.I have 2 pair and alternate them so they get washed a lot. They have held up well for the intended purpose.

I was very disappointed with the socks. My fractured ankle would get SOOO hot in the boot than my foot would get even more swollen. It was very uncomfortable and more painful. The sock itself was very stretchy , soft on the skin and perfect size for the tall boot but, a regular cotton sock worked better , as my foot would not get as hot and as swollen.I was originally using cotton socks with the fractured ankle and the boot . I bought these socks as they would fit the tall boot and the skin would not rub against the boot . But they overheated my foot, getting more swollen and more painful than when using the cotton socks. I tried it for 2 days but I had to go back to the cotton sock. Very disappointed because the whole purpose of buying it was to use it with the boot. Couldn’t return it because it was used ( just line of them and for only 2 days) but a used sock is not returnable .

Really stretchy and easy to put on when the leg is very sensitive. Sits comfortably under the air boot. Good to be able to change and wash them to feel fresher.

Took ages to arrive. When they did, they were shorter than the picture suggested. They only came just above my calf and it over the boot. They are more like a pair of pop socks (like 20 denier tights)Disappointed as nothing like the photo.
