Fluker'sRepta Bowl, Food and Water Bowl for Reptiles and Small Animals, Large 9"

Small not what is listed. Medium good.
I've now received the "Medium" size. it's exactly as advertised, looks nice, feels solid and more stone like than plastic. Too bad they're making us leave all reviews as the same product. I would have given this size 5 stars. But I'm leaving the review I have already written:I ordered the small. It's labeled as small, but neither the shape nor the measurements are what's in the listing here, as you can see in my photos. If you want something about 6"×4" and 1cm deep, this is fine; just be aware it's not as listed.I should probably give the lowest rating for the deception, but these will still be useful to me as the bonsai accent trays I ordered them for. Just not the size I wanted

Great little dish - just Clean VERY WELL before use!
Just what I needed for my leopard gecko's vivarium; the one I got was very flat, maybe a centimetre deep at most for its water basin, and fit nicely in my palm. I didn't care what color I ended up with, so the "surprise" aspect was great! My star deductions are for having to clean the thing twice before I felt it was safe to use - there was some kind of sticky residue all over the dish after unwrapping it from its plastic covering. I ended up soaking it for an hour or two in warm water + dawn dish soap, then rinsed and rinsed and rinsed, let dry, then repeated until I could no longer smell any soap on it.Make sure there is NO residue or cleaner/soap remnants on your dish before supplying it to your pet. That should be a no-brainer, but emphasizing it just in case!

Okay, but not what I was looking for.
The bowl is not *extra* small, it’s about the size of a small Exo Terra water dish. Mine came with some sharp edges on the side where it’s been chipped so I can’t use it. It’s pretty heavy and seems like it would last

classy looking, heavy
Good dish for my approximately 4 foot python. It is heavy and solid, so it'll never spill. It was a little smaller than I expected- I guess the measurements are from the outside, not the inside, so if you take the roughly inch wide rim into account, the actual dish is 1 inch smaller all around. Thats the only reason it got 4 stars. I like how shallow and wide it is though. He sometimes rubs against it when he is shedding, so bonus! One lesson I have learned with a stone dish: it heats up so stay on top ok keeping it full.

Approx 3x3 inches diameter
This XS bowl is much bigger than expected so I can’t actually use it. The dimensions are more like 3x3 inches and shallow. This means that our gecko’s food would dry out before he actually ate it. I ended up going to Petco and buying a deeper bowl with a 1 inch diameter well that is perfect. I would attach a photo but it’s in the dishwasher! FWIW it’s a light blue rubbery plastic with a deeper well of smaller diameter so the food doesn’t dry out.

Satisfying weight
I ordered the extra large. I was kind of disappointed in the light color considering the images showed darker colors but for $9 I’m not too upset. Melanie here already rubbed herself all up on it so she seems to enjoy it. It will definitely help when she is shedding. I left it out once I received it filled with water just to make sure it wouldn’t drain out. It holds water well. This one was not sticky on the bottom like the other 2 I ordered but I still washed it to remove any extra residue and tiny chipped pieces. Overall, it’s a good size and good buy.

Not what's pictured.
The bowl is nice and I've had very few issues with anything from Flukers, however, the bowl I received looks nothing like any of them listed and is also much bigger than what I'd consider small. I was hoping for a small diameter and for it to be a bit deeper, considering that is what's pictured, but I received a larger rectangular bowl that is so shallow (maybe 1/3 of an inch deep) the water evaporates in a few hours. Unfortunately, it's basically useless for me.

Great product for price!
A real stone water bowl for a dollar store price! We were looking at cruddy, brightly colored plastic dishes that had a hefty price tag of several dollars more. We wanted a natural look. What looks more natural than stone in your tank! Greatly satisfied with our purchase and would recommend this product👍

More aware of fragile items
It came with a little bit chipped off but with super glue all is fine now!

sticky like its uncured
wanted to use these for water for my geckos but they are sticky I washed them they are still sticky they were packaged individually in plastic so its not like something spilled on them but the paint isnt cured it also doesn't cover them all the way around leaving the bottom edges open. As I am not sure if they are safe to use ill try washing them one more time or 10 then I may just have to return them

Great bowl, but sticks to substrate
This bowl is great for my baby corn snake, and he loves it! the only draw back is the material it's made of, I think soapstone. It sticks to the substrate in his bin, and as of right now I just have him on paper towel, so when I take out his bowl to refresh every day, it takes everything in the bin with it... I just keep a separate scrap of paper towel on the bottom of the bowl so it doesn't stick to the big sheets.

Perfect Dish!
I bought this for my hamster - I wanted something I could put his fresh veggies, fruit, etc. in and this shallow dish is perfect for that! The look is very pretty, a nice marbled rock, and matches the natural habitat look I like.

Not sure if this is safe.
Has weird substance sipping out to water, it does reduces a bit after washing scrubbing and sipping more out to water. Still skeptical about it though.
