WeeRide Co-Pilot Bike Tandem Trailer for Children

LLego en tiempo, muy bien empacado , en una caja completamente desarmado, en un primer momento estaba determinado a probar mis habilidades de bicicletero y armar el trailer con mis manos, luego de pensar que era mi hija la que iba a viajar en el trailer decidí dejar esa tarea en manos de un profesional (de todos modos, no se ve muy complicado armarla, aunque el manual es un poco deficiente).Un par de horas más tarde nuestro bicicletero de confianza ya tenia armado el trailer , decidimos salir a dar una pequeña vuelta con mi hija de 5 años (116 cms y 23 km) , ella estuvo feliz , hoy ya fuimos a la escuela en bici & trailer y todos felices.-Hoy en la mañana note que hacía un ruido que ayer no había hecho, el cubrecadena está tocando la cadena, nada grave, se puede solucionar--Este trailer no es para tomar curvas cerradas, tomen las curvas abiertas, de otra manera girará el poste de su asiento, esto lo había leído en un par de criticas, no me parece grave solo hay que cambiar un poco la forma de manejar la bici.-En la descripcion dice que es de aluminio, y declaran 13 kgs, este trailer NO es de aluminio (solo el manubrio tal vez) , se siente bastante más pesado que mi bicicleta.Saludos , espera que la reseña les sea de ayuda

The Good: This is a fantastic tag-along bike and my daughter (105cm tall) loves to ride it. She is generally an anxious child, but she didn't hesitate a second to climb onto the bike and cycle around the block with me. The bike is sturdy and doesn't have any build issue (as few reviewers have encountered). Everything fits well and is assembled within 30-40 minutes. My daughter is comfortable even on 1 hour long rides and is able to help me cycle uphill (while otherwise she just let's me do the work).The bad: Moving parts come completely dry. There is no grease on the chain or in the bottom bracket. Accordingly there is some noise when cycling and things may rust after some time. So, you need to bring this bike for servicing (or do it yourself) even though it's brand new. The plastic mudguard is quite flimsy. Both items are not a deal breaker, but it's also not a 5 star experience.

We previously had the Weeride Kangeroo Bike Seat for my son and then daughter to ride with us on bike rides. We loved the idea that they were sat in front of us instead of behind where we couldn’t see them. Once my daughter had outgrown the seat, we purchased this.As I said it’s brilliant, my nearly 4 year old loves coming out on bike rides with us and ‘riding her bike’. She’s only short but can reach the pedals fine, can hold onto the handlebars and get on/off by herself. My 7 year old can also ride on it so it’ll last a good few years.The bike was fairly easy to put together and fit to the bike. We did a couple of test rides round the block to check it was ok and the bolts were tight enough before venturing out further.The plastic mudguard that protects your child from mud off your back wheel had a crack in it, I contacted Weeride with photos and they sent a replacement out straight away. Their Customer Service is very good.

Excellent. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Its a heavy unit so dont expect some lightweight pull on your bike, but thats what I wanted. If my kids are riding behind me i want to feel like im pulling something substantial. The connector will pull your saddle post out of alignment if you go around a sharp corner, otherwise this a well designed solid tandem and forget the extra £40.00 for aluminium model, its a 2Kg difference.

Comes pretty much put together. Solid construction. Yes it's a decent weight but to anyone fitter then a couch potato its barely noticeable. Corner turning is easy, just don't cut corners, acts like a trailer to a car obviously. My son, who cannot ride a bike even with stabilisers yet, loves it. Great way to learn them to pedal. He couldnt do it on his own before, 5 mins on this he was oeddaling properly
