Perfect addition to use my current 1-1/8th stem on my classic mtb. The 25.4mm stem worked seamlessly. Important to note, bikes using a quil stem require a specific size quil diameter*

Works, but very tight fit in 1” threaded fork: had to grease liberally and still use a mallet to fully seat it

This is a must have upgrade for older bikes. I threw this one on a cheap 80s Trek along with a CF handle bar. Looks awesome. Super easy to install and fits well without the need for more adapters or shims.

It is a decent part, but the powder coating on mine was insanely thick. It added 2+ mm to the part's diameter, and it wouldn't fit in the stem. The stamping on it was also very deep, creating a heavy bulge in that area that again makes the part hard to fit into the fork. I ended up taking a brass wire brush on a grinder to remove the powder coating. It sucks that you have to modify a part that should work right out of the box. At least it is aluminum, and the coating isn't needed. After stripping the part, I anodized mine with a home kit.
