Setting COL is a breeze.
Using this to set the COL, Cartridge Overall Length, is a breeze. Set your press high or to barely insert the bullet into the case. Measure the current COL, get the difference to the desired COL and dial it in with the micrometer, no guessing! You might also check out the Hornady Lock N Load Overall length Gauge to measure the COL for your gun.

Quality hardware
These should come standard with all die sets in my opinion. Makes loading much easier. Make sure you get the correct stem for what type of bullets you are using

This thing worked awesome, but I really needed the full length Redding VLD type S Micrometer bullet seater. So I bought that one as well, and I don't use this one at all now, but it did work great!
