Digital Hygrometer / Thermometer

This hygrometer is nothing fancy but it's definitely an improvement over the analog hygrometer that came with my violin case (which is unfortunate because it's an expensive case). It's a slight bit larger than the analog hygrometer, so I did have to slightly cut out the opening in the case to make room for it, but it wasn't a major amount of work and now this fits perfectly.

I like the small size but I was disappointed because they are not all giving the same reading under the same condition.

Very nice gauge for temp + humidity, but it is very small and comes with no mount of any kind.The back must be kept clear for sensing the temp & humidity so it is not easy to mount anywhere.If it came snapped into a simple L shaped bracket it would be perfect.

Nice simple hygrometer. Does the job as far as I can tell. Only small issue was that the battery barely only lasted 4 months. Other than that, it does the job for cheap.

not sure it's accurate

I opened the package, and thought that it looked like it was meant to be used with something else. I took it out, put the little battery in, and it has been working great. After looking up the mypharmjar website, I noticed that these little monitors are meant to be put on the lid of a jar; that is why it is round and has the sensor on the back. Maybe I can make my own little thing to decorate it with.It is not hard to read the numbers, unless you look at it from an angle up or down (side angles are fine).NOTE: You have to put it on its side. Laying it flat will block the sensor from reading anything. It will stay upright.

POS. worked shortly, gave bunk readings. Didn't seal. ehhh. why two stars you asked? Well, they didn't lie to me in their description, and I did buy the cheapest one, soooo yeah. Buy cheap, Buy twice... unless you know what you're getting yourself into.

Well within the stated accuracy. I have a couple of these in places so when I get a new one, I gather them all in one container for a day and see how the new one sits. I put them in with a 62% moisture pack and they all say 62% to 64%.But these aren't for scientific measurement, they're best to see trends. Great for humidor since you'll know that it always reads the same and when it starts to drop, replace the humidity pack.
