I recently turned 44 and peri menopause has hit me like a bus! I researched several OTC supplements to help with these symptoms. I liked the idea that Estroven might help with weight loss but I wanted something that would incorporate Ashwaganda into my regimen. So I ordered an Ashwaganda supplement from Happy, Healthy, Hippie. My first day I took the Estroven and Ash together. I had no hot flashes, no excessive sweating, no mood swings but I felt muted. People at work kept asking if I was okay bc I seemed like “something was wrong”. The next day I decided to only take the Estroven. I had no hot flashes, excessive sweating or mood swings but I took it in conjunction with my diet pill, AtraFen Elite (I only take one a day to help with appetite suppression) to see if it would add a little pep to my step. That day, I felt more like my old self. No one at work commented that I seemed off. By the third day of taking Estroven, I was ready for bed by 10pm with no problems falling asleep. I do however have several things to help me sleep at night. I keep melatonin, unisom, and ambien in my medicine cabinet. I don’t take a sleeping aid every night but I find that the week before my period is the most sleepless week I have each month. So I have these sleep aids just in case there’s a rough night. I also invested in a Lasko X Blower floor fan which is an amazing little fan. I highly recommend this supplement. I don’t know if there’s any one fix for us women going through this but this certainly has helped me. I’m only taking the Estroven and AtraFen on my work days right now. I keep the Ash handy though in case I get overwhelmed and need an extra helping hand. I also found that the Stess gummies from Olly help in extreme instances. Good luck ladies! I hope this helps!

I started taking this 12 days ago for severe hot flashes and night sweats. I would have hot flashes all day and night sweats all night. I wasn't sleeping soundly because they were so bad. I started to notice a difference a few days after taking them and my hot flashes are getting better by the day. I haven’t woke up to night sweats in about a week! I honestly can’t believe this is really working and how fast it’s working. I’ve gained quite a bit of weight between menopause and the pandemic. I haven’t seen any weight loss or loss of appetite yet but it hasn’t even been 2 weeks since I started taking them so hopefully that will come later.UPDATE: I'm on day 27 and I am even more amazed! I now only get a hot flash a couple of times a week! I have noticed a small decrease in appetite at night too! These are seriously a miracle! I thought my life as I knew it was over and now I can live like a normal person again.Second update: I’m about a 1/4 the way through my second box and I’m really starting to notice my cravings are going down. Goodness this product is the best after three daysi noticed a marked improvement didn't want to believe it but its true my hot flashes are gone I feel good mood is great and its only been two Weeks thank god for Estroven I will recommend it to my friends .

This product had very bad side effects for me. I could not figure out why I was all of a sudden gaining weight, mainly in my Stomach. I cut down to very little calories thinking that perhaps my metabolism was just poor. I was bloated, felt like I was full just after eating a handful of food. I felt like my Stomach was not apart of my body. It was tight and I looked like I was 5 months pregnant. I made several Dr's appts to see if perhaps I had a tumor, or my thyroid was having issues. All tests came back fine. One of my appts. required me to fast after midnight. I did not take the pill that morning. I actually was not that bloated that day. I started doing some research and discovered that it is the Black Cohosh that has the side effects that I was going through. I quickly stopped taking the pills and after a week I am getting back my life. I had taken a months worth of the Estroven pills, so it will take me time to get it out of my system. Boy was I very miserable while taking the pills and feel dumb for not realizing I was doing it to myself by taking a pill each morning.

It took about 2 weeks for the hot flashes to minimize and about a month for them to go away. I can wear turtlenecks again!! And on top of that, I no longer feel super hungry all the time. I gained 15 pounds (all in my gut) in two years because my brain was telling me that I was always hungry. My weight is finally starting to go back down. I actually feel in control again: in control of my eating, in control of my mood and in control of my temperature. What a relief. As a note, I tried taking the supplement that is 540mg of black cohosh, but that gave me a horrible headache. These pills have do not have any side effects that I have noticed.
