Halls Mentho-Lyptus - 200 drops

Received earlier than scheduled and in perfect condition.

On Halls:It's a great product. I've had a chronic throat condition for a long time now, resulting in semi-frequent coughs. Started using these about two years ago, they work like a charm. Mind, I try not to use too many to avoid building up resistance or dependency, but when the urge to cough is strong, I pop one in and it works. I've tried all three flavors and prefer these blue minty ones.On the order I just bought.As we all know, stuff sold on amazon is fulfilled by a number of different merchants and warehouses etc. So experience on an order does not necessarily relate to the product itself. Hence the two-part nature of the review. I ordered a single bag of 200 and... got 7 bags of 30. I guess they ran out of the large bag but tried their best to fulfill which is great. Not only did I get 10 extra, this makes it easier to carry/stash across different places and allow more of them to remain sealed from the outer environment longer (I mean there are individual wrappers, but it's probably better to keep them away from ambient if possible anyway).As a number of older review talk about how the product have a short expiration date, I did, in fact, go and check and they have almost a full year of life on them. So at least for me, everything is fine.Again, as each order is fulfilled differently, this part of the review is anecdotal. But given that most of the review with expiration problem seems to be from a couple years back, it's possible that Amazon have stepped up their inventory inspection standards.

I just now noticed this, and absolutely had to update my review! Each cough drop wrapper has little fortunes printed on it like this: "A pep talk in every drop" "Get through it" "Take charge and mean it" "Put your game face on" "You got it in you" "Elicit a few Wows today" "Get back in there champ"Isn't that just the coolest freaking thing! Dang I hope somebody sees this review... so that more people can be turned onto this nifty little tidbit.Original review:Simple, and effective for coughs, better than most cough syrupsYou can never find these in the local store, and if you do get lucky it's only a tiny bag. We've always got a sicko in the house, and this is a must-have for sickos. I don't know why the local stores think we want the specialty drops, with honey and such, that never work. Simple, and effective, these are.
