Really great regulator but probably over specced for most people
Used these for the first time in Egypt last week - they are a big difference to my old Mares Proton ICE and took a bit of getting used to. The 1st stage is very heavy and built like a tank and the hose layout options are very good - the second stage has both the Twin-Power (twist) system and a breathing comfort knob - which for recreational depth diving is probably a bit over the top. The only niggle is that the 2nd stage tends to free flow on entry, which my older cheaper regs never did - I've knocked a point off for this. The supplied superflex hoses and the lightweight second stages offsets the weight of the 1st stage so overall weight is not that much of an issue. They are rated for cold water diving and technical diving, so are a good option if you do a mix of diving however for warm water recreational diving I'd recommend getting a simple cheaper set. That said they look good and perform well and I'm happy with them.
