This is real saffron, it passed the water test. This is not the thick looking almost burgundy colored saffron you get from some brands, this is thin and dry and red. The flavor is good and it isn't stale like so many other brands with musty odor from not curing it properly. I didn't weigh it but this seemed a little on the light side which is not uncommon among saffron sellers. This comes in a good package which screws easily on and off, unlike many other brands.

I love this saffron , fragrant and good quality. I have already used a lot of it and will need to order more soon.

Don’t buy it, it’s not real saffron!!! I’m not sure what it is. The quality is a zero has no smell and does not dissolve in boiling water!! What a disappointment!! You get what you pay for here!! Buyer beware
