The best 1440p monitor ever made? (Asus ROG Swift PG329Q)
Out of the box the colours were over saturated and quite green to my eyes (though everyone's eyes are different so bear that in mind). But once I'd set it up to my liking it is simply incredible. I've never had a screen which can do colours like this before, it has changed a lot of games for me. Interestingly two of the games which most benefitted from it are Rimworld and Elite Dangerous which suddenly looked better and crisper than ever before (Red Dead Online also looks stunning). The speed is also exceptional (natively sets to 165hz and I've seen no reason to overclock it to 175hz) the response time feels like 1ms g2g, (All my other screens advertise they are 1ms g2g but they don't feel like they are in comparison to this). There is only a tiny bit of ghosting on bright reds (specifically Yarrow plants in Red Dead Online) but compared to my 32" gigabyte VA screen, this screen has an incredible lack of ghosting.Even the blacks are good which people say is the Achilles heel of IPS panels, in fact the blacks are so good Elite Dangerous looks much better on this IPS screen than my VA screen. There is a miniscule amount of backlight bleed but you'd only notice it if you stare at a completely black screen for a full minute and who does that?Oh and if you are wondering if 32" is too big for a desk monitor, I'd say its the perfect size, in fact going back to a 24" screen afterwards is painful. The stand looks good, is very stable, doesn't take up too much desk space considering its pretty big and it was very easy to setup. The software is fairly good. The USB hub is good. The only way this screen could be improved is if the HDR was better, if it was 4k and if it was curved but curved IPS panel screens are pretty rare and this would cost a fortune if it was 4k. I got this for ยฃ550 on black Friday, can't recommend it enough, I really doubt a better screen exists at 32" 1440p and its so good I don't think I'll ever buy another VA panel screen ever again. Worth every single penny.

Excellent. I strongly recommend.
Does exactly what it says. Go for it. Coming from someone who owns both PS5, Xbox series x as well as a gaming laptop. No speakers. Just use any Bluetooth speaker with Aux cable. Sorted.120fps is the reason I went for this. 120fps Call of Duty and Destiny 2 crucible are a treat. Monitor has a fancy UX which can display the frames for you. As a fun activity I let it on sometimes whole playing single players like Metro, Ghost of Tsushima, Gears of War etc.. to see the frame rate drop as to see why it happened in the game or what caused it.Excellent brightness HDR turned off. Definitely decent brightness in a semi lit room HDR on. Just do yourself a favour and be practical. Turn it off. Enjoy your shows. Watched Narcos, Loki, The Walking Dead(season 10 n 11), What if(5 episodes), Ted Lasso etc.. Awesome quality and experience. Go for it!

nice monitor shame about the documentation
The most infuriating thing about this monitor is the poor documentation on how to set up the functions for a non experienced person.1) If you want Armoury Crate to see you have a Aura Sync monitor you must plug in the USB cables2) There is software updates and apps that this monitor can use, but if you want it you have to go to the monitors web page and use the support menu to find it.3) The monitor behind the screen menu can be a bit fiddly to find and use at first, but what the lack of documentation tells you is how to get to use some of the greyed out options. It is a case of you turn on this, something else gets turned off, but how are you to know that for first time use?4) there are still things I've not figured out yet, like the menu says I'm in Racing Mode, the App tells me there are more modes and how to adjust them, but nothing to say how to swap between those modes. There is the usual 24 window delay for Asus email support, which I used to find out how to get Armoury Crate to know I had a new monitor installed. It was as professional as you would expect, but totally unable to deal with the problem I had and referred me to a how to install Armoury Crate again. This boiler plate check list replies is also typical of some agents these days, what happened to reading the users email and realise the user says AC was working so why wasn't it seeing the monitor. Oh have you plugged in the USB so the PC can see it?It is a shame I have to moan here about it, but by not moaning here Asus might never get the memo to update the documentation to help consumers get the most out of the functions they purchased.Other than that I can state this new generation of 1440p monitors is far superior in colour quality to my older 2018 BenQ 1440p monitor and even older 2010 1080p HannsG. So the only fault the hardware I can find is like the other two LED monitors I've owned, they still insist on putting the cables sockets in a such a way to make it that you have to have the whole monitor face down so you can insert the cables. I'm always afraid of the monitor slipping and crashing to the floor as I tilt it over.So buy the 329, your not wasting your money on an inferior product. But like I've written, you'll have to figure out how to make some things work by yourself

Amazing HDR gaming at a crazy frame rate
I use this this awesome monitor paired up with my RTX3090 build looks awesome and is future proof, I game at Ultra presets mostly 1080p but use super resolution support on game that support it. Itโs super fast , so smooth and great detail and crisp image for a high refresh rate you wonโt be disappointed.

Dead pixel after 1 month
Edit: Just reported to Amazon that my monitor has a dead pixel after less than one month of very light use. Awaiting to hear back tomorrow. Will keep updating my review as the experience unfolds. Please see photos attached.Old review"Excellent quality monitor, especially if some time is taken to calibrate. New firmware is said to fix various issues with HDR, however, as it's a IPS monitor, I honestly think racing mode is best.Build quality is great! Be sure to have a fairly deep desk. I'm going to wall mount mine to get a few more inches viewing distance as from 1.5ft, the pixel density is a little low."
