AirMan ResQ Tire Repair Kit

My wife's M-B came with run-flat tires ("MOE") and no spare tire or jack. The MOE tires wore out very fast and they gave a harsh ride (because they're more stiff to enable running flat). When looking to get new MOE tires, I found they're VERY expensive with a smaller selection to choose from. So, given the cost and harsher ride, I wanted to switch to regular tires. To do that, I thought I needed a spare tire and jack, but there's nothing that would fit in the MB GLA250 trunk, so I looked to one of these kits that many car manufacturers now offer instead of a spare tire & jack. After researching, I found this kit to be the best quality build & materials (compared to the "Slime" version), and as a bonus, it fits perfectly in the MB GLA240 trunk slots that were already there! It's almost as if MB considered supplying this kit as an option to the harsh & expensive run-flat tires! Note: Air-Man has a video link that shows how easy it is to use.

I got this because I was told it will fit in the styrofoam fix a flat storage area in the Chevy Bolt. It fit perfectly. I think this is just a rebranded version of what GM sells to Bolt owners as an option. Most Bolts don’t come with flat repair from the factory unless you order it special. It’s cheaper than GM’s version and probably works the same. I can’t speak for how well it performs and hopefully I won’t have to use it.

We bought a used 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio, and didn't notice that the OEM inflator had been used, and the sealant canister was empty. The inflator was actually misused and rendered inoperable. This AirMan kit is nearly identical, and comes in a nice storage case, which fits the same compartment in the trunk as the original kit. I tested the inflator and it has a strong pump and the air gauge measures the same pressure as my other tire pressure gauge. I haven't had an occasion to use the repair kit, although I like that instructions are provided on the inflator (similar to the OEM inflator).

An excellent thing to have in the trunk/storage. I recently changed from runflat tires to regular tires on my BMW X3. I bought this to take care of any emergency situations on the road. It handles everything, except a major blowout. It seals and inflates to take care of most situations.

This replaced the OEM kit in a 2003 Mercedes SL55 AMG and it's a close replica that fits the storage space. Besides that, chose this because 1) it won't damage wheels, tires, or tire pressure monitor sensors (TPMS), 2) it can be stored in the vehicle, unlike the pressurized cans that could overheat and rupture, and 3) it's usable at lower temperatures (down to -4F), unlike some that can solidify. Can't comment on how it works since I've been lucky enough not to have to use it.

Purchased for my chevy bolt as it fits in the oem foam trunk organizer slots. Sealant expires in 4 years (2025). Still have the price that chevy wanted for the same kit.

To be honest I've not had to use this to seal a flat yet. This appears to be the same kit, different name, that GM sells for their cars without spares. My Bolt has spots in the Styrofoam trunk organizer for the compressor and the can of goo. These fit perfectly in them and match what was supplied in my '14 Spark EV. While I'm sure it's not as good as a true spare tire, it provides peace of mind now that I replaced my "self sealing" OEM tires with better ones.

I bought this product because it got a very positive rating in consumer reports magazine. After getting mine I ordered one for my granddaughter. Comes with very easy clear instructions with diagrams. Can also be used as an air pump by itself to inflate tire when pressure is low. Can also order a replacement cannister once it's used to fix a flat tire.
