Save your money.
Let me start by saying that the box itself is nice. It’s constructed from unfinished wood. It’s smooth with no rough patches or sharp edges. It’s a really cute idea, and it’s fun for the kids to play with, but there are some major issues. It takes 3 x AA batteries which are located inside the box, by lifting the lid. There is no cover on the battery compartment. As well, ALL of the mechanics are completely exposed, which feels kind of lazy and cheap to me. I think a simple cover for the interior would have made a world of difference. The biggest issue I have is with the cat/tiger itself. The very small, plush cat head is haphazardly hot-glued to the interior of the lid and features large pieces of Velcro holding it to a small, separate piece of wood (I’m assuming to hold the head vertical so the face doesn’t end up flipping to the lid), but the Velcro is visible. Aside from looking cheap, it’s so small that you can plainly see there isn’t a body attached to the head when in use. Some people may think that’s trivial, but I think it’s pretty vital to the illusion the box is supposed to give. The “paw” doesn’t look anything like a paw. It looks like a candycane covered with thin fabric.Overall, for almost $30, I expected something a little more polished. I don’t expect anything AMAZING for that price, but I think it should at least be well-made and this fell short.I wouldn’t recommend it, honestly.

Very funny and entertaining
First one I received had a gear problem but they shipped a replacement right away. Friends and kids love it and think it is hilarious. SomeBiden supporters get confused as to what the purpose of it is. Other than that its great!

Problems, not high quality
Negatives:It did not work. It would get stuck halfway through the routines because the cheap stubborn switch requires way more force than the kitty paw (really more of a fuzzy orange stub) can apply. The paw was never able to push down the darn switch. I’d have to push down on the kitty paw to move the switch down. Luckily I had tools, a soldering iron and a better switch so I could rework it and make it work. During rework I noticed poor soldering & solder splashes that needed touch up and clean up.It will not work with rechargeable batteries. Needs the extra voltage provided by alkaline AAA batteries, 3 required, make sure they are fresh and fully charged.Battery power only. No plug in option. The battery holder is just flopping around in the box, no way to secure it unless you do more work to devise a method yourself. The quality and appearance is just ok, nothing fancy, the cheap kitty head and paw/stub is not as cute as some I’ve seen. You have to watch the action direct on from the side, the lid does not raise very far. If you watch from the top you’ll see the kitty stub pop out but you won’t see the kitty face.Positive:It has many routines to make the action more interesting. (Once you replace the switch to make it work, grrr.)

Doesnt work well out the box
When I first tried to use this, the paw that comes out to push the switch down did not have enough force to actually push the switch. I was stuck with an open box, a flashing light, and a paw just resting on top of the switch. I had to push the switch back down myself every time to reset the cycle. I rapidly worked the switch a bunch of times in hope of "loosening" it up. To my surprise, this actually worked and the paw pushes the switch back down on its own now. Was disappointing that the product didnt work out of the box and I had to "fix" it. Overall, its funny but for half of the actions the box makes a bunch of noise and the lid bounces up and down several times. It almost looks like it is malfunctioning and I would actually prefer that the paw just comes out and pushes the switch right away everytime. I have it now and I will keep it but if I could do it all over again I wouldnt buy it.

Meh. Kinda cool but poorly made
This works okay however the construction is pretty weak. Everything, wires/batteries/lights, are all exposed. The head of the tiger is superglued to the box lid and the arm looks like a piece of plastic wrapped in felt. the actions of the tiger are cool and kind of neat but the poor craftsmanship of the item really deters from the overall appeal of this item.
