I’ve gone on to get all three sizes. The quality of these lids is far beyond what l expected. They are forever quality. The somewhat flattened knobs make nesting them, using little space.

I like the concept of these lids fitting multiple sized pots and pans in the Meyer Accent line. The lid is nicely designed and made with quality material, it sits evenly on top of my 3 quart hard anodized nonstick saucier/sauce pan, it is wider than the pot though so part of the lid hangs over the pot, it does not impede the handles at all though. The one thing I am not thrilled about with this cover is it is not an airtight fit, not even close, the three holes on top allow steam to escape which is great for the majority of the time, the exception is when cooking rice. Granted the top sits evenly on the pot but it is not a tight fit like some, there is room for the lip to move a bit and if you turn the pot over you can easily drain water while holding the lid shut, so not it is not airtight and it is not intended to be, so I can not fault the design for that. I will just use a different pot for when I cook rice. Meyer is a leader in cookware for a reason, they make great quality products.

What a great idea. I lid which will fit multiple size pots. Like most households, we have a fairly large collection of cooking pots and pans. We also have an almost equally large assortment of lids – generally one for each pot/pad. And we tend to spend a fair amount of time looking for the matching lid for whatever pot we happen to be using. Meyer has changed this. With the Meyer Accent line, they make one lid which will fit multiple size pots. The medium size fits the 8”, 8.75” and the 9.5” in the Accent series. They do this with an ingenious design, the lid has three different size indentions, to the lid will fit securely on the appropriate pot. Instead of a dome shape like most lids, this one is inverted. The lids shapes downward. If you have all three lids – the small, medium and large, they nest together to save space in the cabinet. The lids are stainless steel and come with a “stay cool” handle which protects you from the heat. Easy to clean. Great idea, saves you money on lids as this lid fits multiple pots. Saves you space in the cabinets.

I requested this lid for my mom to complete her entire Meyer collection. She had the 'small' and 'large' lids already, and needed the medium to make the experience more versatile. The product description states: "This medium universal lid fits the 3-quart saucier, the 5-quart saucepot, the 9.5-inch steamer, and all three stockpots in the Meyer Accent collection." Just like the rest of the series, the lid is very well made. The way the lids are designed, they are easy to stack on top of each other neatly for stowage. Just as another reviewer stated, the only slight downside is that the vent holes are forever opened, and that makes certain situations less than ideal, like when you need it to simmer for a long period of time. It also isn't 'sealed' as the lid is designed to fit multiple sized pots and pans. Still, for most things, this lid is great and certainly does the job.

Now I need to get the small one. I might even get the medium one also. I have a few of the Meyer pots and pans and frying pans. They are wonderful. I will have enough lids for all of them and can get rid of all the cheap ones that we don't use.

Needed a lid for my favourite cooking pot, The pan is black, so the lid and its bronze coloured handle perfectly complements it.

As expected quite satisfied with the product. Heavy lid, will last a lifetime, quality top notch. Multipurpose lid , serves three different sized pot. Pricy though, it's worth it. I am one happy customer at the end of the day.

The first one I got was too big. This one fits perfectly on all my medium sized pots. It’s heavy enough not to bounce off because of the steam. It has little holes to so nothing boils over. The best thing is i don’t have to use my steel plates to cover while cooking and keep them clean and sturdy for a longer time

The perfect multi-size lid I have been looking for. Very good quality.
