This magazine style book (30 pages) is written, illustrated and produced in Lincolnshire. The tales feature an optimistic 11-year-old boy, full of daft ideas, brought up on a 1970`s Lincolnshire farm. Harry is forced to do the family shopping during lunch hour, resulting in big trouble for his French teacher. He also instigates sauce wars in the school dining hall and forms a gang, the Hankeyheads, who reinvent the school's strict dress code. At home, Harry tries to help by washing his father's pure new wool army jumper, with disastrous consequences. Finally, left to tend the cooked breakfast he sets fire to the sausages and blackens the kitchen ceiling. Spiteful sister Lou is sure that he will not escape severe punishment this time, but as usual, Harry comes up with an idea that might just save his neck.
