Rust-OleumUniversal Gloss Cobalt Blue 750ml

Love the paint, easy to apply but the smell is so strong it gave me really bad headaches, even with the window open 24/7. Several days later and it still strong. The color is gorgeous Cobalt Blue.

I really like this paint and have purchased in the past in other colours. I loved this shade online however it wasn’t the navy shade I was expecting but a bright blue. I wasn’t sure at first and had a wobble after applying, I wouldn’t say it’s massively expensive but a disappointment all the same as I’ve found the shades do sometimes differ from online/front of pot. I have gotten used to it and now quite like it with my matching blue pots. Coverage is excellent, I would always recommend two coats. Pretty hard wearing, have used on the front door in a grey a few years ago and there’s minimal wear and tear. Only issue is it STINKS. The smell is quite unbearable so make sure you paint anything in a well ventilated area, I also wear a mask as it really is strong. Also fairly sticky consistently so be careful if gets onto skin, recommend wearing gloves. Also managed to drip some on my patio which won’t budge either but that’s my fault for not being careful lol. Overall happy with the results.

Dried slightly lighter than label but went on wasy enough with 2 coats.

Very dark more like Oxford blue!!!

I used this to paint my front door. Firstly, the colour is actually a bright blue, not a dark blue like advertised. Secondly, the paint was very runny, it dried to a sticky state quickly which made it very hard to coat evenly. It's now the next day and the paint is still sticky and not dry. I'm unhappy with the result and I'm now going to have to sand it all back down and repaint again. Very dissapointed in the quality
