The Koren Tanakh Maalot, Magerman Edition, Large (Hebrew and English Edition)

I love religious books and this is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this book to anyone in need of a Tanach. (And I recommend this publisher's work as a whole, having bought a number of items -- they are of good quality, on good paper, made sturdily, and use clear fonts.) And this is easy on my eyes to book thanks to the type size.

The translation keeps to the original Hebrew. I really enjoy the font and the quality of the pages. You can’t go wrong with Koren publishers in my opinion. They carry a high reputation, especially in the orthodox Israeli community

I love this Koren Tanakh. The one I bought was a hardcover with chapter tabs. I love the intro by Rabbi Sacks. I also love the Torah and Haftarot Blessings right at the beginning of the book. I am thankful that this Hebrew translation comes with cantillation notes. I also am thankful that the Torah readings are all listed as well as the Festival readings up front. If you like large print, this is a beautiful Tanakh that I would recommend to everyone.

Hebrew-English Tanach that is clear and easy to read. Very nice edition! I use for Nach Yomi. It has two book marks, which is useful to mark parsha in addition to Nach Yomi. Helpful maps. It took a few days to get used to seeing Hebrew on the left and English on the right but, now I am used to it, it makes a lot more sense than the classic Hebrew on the right and English on the left Highly recommended.

If you are looking to do a deep dive and get back to the source, this is an excellent place to go. The English translation can act as a guide, but it is highly recommended to translate it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

It’s an easy read. Kind of a basic translation. I’m sure a lot of work went into making this a plain and simple translation. Nothing complicated here.
