This is a very cute cuddly toy, which comes vacuum packed. It has no labels, so I am just a bit concerned about the age group it is suitable for. Considering the lack of information, I would probably play safe and suggest 3+ although the stitching seems quite secure. As there are no labels, or washing instructions, I also assume it is surface wash only.The toy comes in different colours and I received the blue/pink. This turns inside out, so one way you have the grumpy blue face and the other way the smiling pink face. As a tutor, I think this would have a role to help young children express how they are feeling; especially if they find doing so difficult verbally. It is also a very cute little toy and good fun - I just don't feel it can be given five stars with the lack of labels to prove safety and quality. It feels soft, and it seems like good quality, but if your children still chew toys, or put things in their mouth, then best be on the safe side and avoid.

This is a really cute little octopus inspired by the Japanese kawaii trend.For those unfamiliar, 'kawaii' things are essentially cute things that you want to love or care for. Most often these are cute animals with minimal cartoon-like designs.This octopus is a great example, because although his design is about as basic as you can get, he has 8 tentacles, two eyes and a smile/frown, you can't help but say 'awww' when you see him.The octopus seems well made. All the stitching feels secure and when you perform the trick of turning him inside-out to reveal an opposite expression and different colour it's completely seamless. When he first arrived he was a little misshaped due to storage, but after a few days he became plump and smooth.The fabric is nice and smooth and he's very soft to hold. The stuffing inside is squishy and comfortable.Overall, this is a really nice gift for someone - it's certain to get a smile :)

The octopus is available in several colour options at the time of this Amazon Vine review; I opted for the blue/pink version.The soft toy has no label or literature with it so it does not carry the CE mark; if this is important to you then you will probably not wish to purchase this toy. However, I have examined the stitching, which all appears to be good, and have given it a good tug to make sure it is sound and it has passed the test. The toy is very soft, cuddly and squeezable, but it's main selling point is that it is reversible. You can choose between the smiley pink octopus or the grumpy blue octopus.Priced at £6.85 at the time of this Amazon Vine review, this seems to be about a mid-range price for this type of plush toy (on Amazon.co.uk) so you can find slightly cheaper versions but you can also find slightly more expensive ones. I don't think this is a bad price for a plush this size, although I would prefer it to be nearer the £5 mark.

After seeing these little guys all over social media I just had to get one for myself and I’m not at all disappointed!!!The little toy is soft, cuddly and a great way of expressing how you’re feeling simply by turning it inside out.It’s especially great for little ones (or even fully grown ones like myself) who struggle to express their emotions as they can let you know in a very black and white (or blue and pink) way if they’re feeling positive or negative in whatever context it’s being used.On top of the therapeutic use it’s just a really cute cuddly toy!Overall I think this is a lovely toy and at only £6.85 I think it’s a bargain and would definitely recommend it.
