Excellent budget battery strap
Paid: £39.59 (£43.99 with a 10% voucher)I took something of a risk with this head strap as it had no reviews at all when I bought it (Black Friday, 2021) but I wasn't paying the cost of the Oculus battery strap so opted for this one.It arrived packaged nicely enough, inside was the strap, instructions on how to fit, and a warranty card for a year's worth and 90 day return guarantee. Putting the strap on to the Quest 2 was easy enough, just snap off the face cover, and arms, swap the centre straps over, click on the strap and done. The strap is a comfort upgrade from the original fabric one, not as good as an elite strap but still better. The bedding on the back and the side straps feel sturdy and provide a good fit. My only complaint comfort wise is that the top strap is a little on the thin side and can be a little uncomfortable sometimes. It definitely extends play time though I haven't managed to compare how much longer yet as I've only had it for a few days at the time of writing this. Charging seems to be slower than advertised - only filling halfway in three hours of charging. It also needs you to unplug the battery pack from the Quest 2 after you're finished else it stays on and continues to try to charge it.Annoyingly, the Quest will no longer fit in the original box with this strap fitted and Destek don't sell their headset case standalone so will have to wait and see if that changes. All in all a good purchase for £40 for a comfortable enough battery strap. Not a massive comfort upgrade and I would prefer stiff arms and a ratchet wheel adjuster but works well enough to notice, and the extended play time is excellent too.

Take this review with a pinch of salt.
So I've only owned MY QUEST 2 for about a week now. More than anything, I was looking for something to improve the battery. This does very efficiently, lasting an extra 1.30-2 hours depending on the game. In regards to comfort, I'm sure there are more comfortable ones out there. And I haven't tested any others, so it's hard for me to say, but it's definitely better than the stock strap Shifting the weight off of your face and more towards the back with the battery pack that makes the headset overall a lot more comfortable and easier to wear for long periods of time. The installation for this accessory was very easy and took a total of about 5 minutes.

Battery is a joke
For some reason the full review were cut in half... i dunno why... i need to say sorry for it, destek reached out to me after it, so its really good to see some companies care about what we say, hope they will continue it!Then the full:For comfort its okay... but for the battery its a joke... still had half battery when my headset died... so its charging capacity clearly not enough, the quest 2 depletes much faster than its capability, it may have been that my product were faulty what can happen Murphy and his god damn "law"...If its not (as i ve seen the specs its not that) the value of money of the headset does not hit that, i would recommend to change that, so the battery would have a chance to back up the headset.Other than that, it would loose maybe half an hour of battery life, but you wouldnt use the headset power outlet at least and you wouldnt tear it out when you step on the charging cable...Just sayin :DThis was the only problem with it, basicly yeah the main thing, but its easily solveable, hope destek will do something with it...Thank you

Updated version of this headset improves battery life - extremely comfortable
Nice quality product and is very comfortable (best comfort in a head strap) - previously i had a version where the battery didn't last as long as stated on the information, but the manufacturer sent me an updated version recently and it works greatPersonally i would prefer a replaceable battery and hopefully one can be developed - but aside from that this head strap works great and the battery quality has been improved drastically.

My product was faulty
Had the product worked, I would have given it top marks for comfort and everything else. Unfortunately my battery charged up fully but when I plugged it into the quest it failed to charge the quest in any way. Applied for (and got) an Amazon refund. When I went to buy it again it had gone up £20 and seemed to be a new model.... Make of that what you will

Hold the playtime for 2h on Contractors
First you have to charge the headset and the Powerbank apart, meaning you need 2 USB C cords.Second it does not have power to charge the headset wile playing, it only extend a little bit of the overall usage. The charge time of the powerbank is 3.5h.Overall I played 1.5h and used 70% of the total battery. So for my usage it improved 30% of the play time, I have no idea where this 2h extra came from. It does not provide you a 3h gameplay. The strap is very well made and balances very well.

A must have if you like function and value
This battery is a must have if you don’t want to spend £100 on the genuine Oculus one.The whole Quest 2 unit feels a lot more balanced when you install this head strap and is more comfortable for extended use.The extra battery life is very useful too. The Oculus batttery is a bit short lived but with this external pack you can use your Quest 2 for three or four solid hours.I haven’t tried the official Oculus battery strap so I’m not qualified to differentiate but I really can’t see it being worth around double the price.Very satisfied with this purchase.

Big improvement to balance and usage time!
An excellent accessory, it was easy to attach and works perfectly. Straight away, I found the weight of the battery pack helps to keep the Rift from tilting forward on your face. This not only makes it much more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time, I also found the clarity of the image was better and less of a strain on my eyes.Tip: disconnect the battery pack from the Rift before you power the Rift off, otherwise the Rift stays on and drains both batteries.
