Perfect fit in my 4080 section simulator rig
I bought these so I could fit an instrument panel to my sim-rig frame. The fame is 4040 and 4080 section aluminium channel, so T-nuts are the obvious solution.I prefer this 'roll-in' type over the cheaper ones, as they are really easy to slide up and down the channel if I need to adjust the position of the panel. They just drop into the channel, and then you rock them to the side and push down to get them to clip in. It can be a little fiddly if the channel is vertical, but a small screwdriver helps. Once the nuts are clipped into the channel, they don't slide about under their own weight. They stay wherever you put them, which makes fitting a panel with several holes really easy.
