MarquisGround Coffee, 2 lbs (Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, 2 Pound (Pack of 1))

This is by far my favorite coffee. I usually buy the beans and grind them myself. Since I’m away without access to a grinder, I bought the ground coffee this time. It’s still excellent.

Most sought after coffee in the world, worth every penny

Based on reviews, I tried the ground Ethiopian Yirgachieff 2lb pack. Coincidentally, I had enough of my prior Amazon purchase to do a taste comparison. I made a small pot which I drank and then made exactly the same pot with this coffee. This coffee seems to be a bottom grade Yirgachieff. It had no taste, brewed up very weak, and even the ground coffee has no aroma at all. My previous purchase of Yirgachieff, from Amazon, was really quite good. This is hopeless. If you have experience with quality Yirgachieff, you will want to avoid this very poor, weak and tasteless product that might not even make it as a generic canned house brand.About a month later: I used the whole bag. After using some coffee from my purchase, and filling a 10oz tin I use for daily coffee, I divided the rest into into two tightly sealed containers which I put in the freezer. After about a week, I retrieved a container from the freezer. I was finally able to detect some Yirgachieff flavor, but very little.. When that portion was used up, I opened the second, slightly larger frozen quantity. It wasn’t bad. The last container from the freezer was from the last quantity in the bag. It seems pretty clear that I had been sold a bag that was both old and not properly sealed. It takes a very long time for coffee to lose all of its taste. It’s only after many months that it loses that stale flat taste and tastes like nothing. The seller has to have known. They didn’t inquire about the date code at all before assuring me they drink the coffee every day at their roasters— which conveniently dodged the question of whether it was stale. Still, this coffee doesn’t come close to justifying its price. Buy some good stuff.

I absolutely love this coffee.. I've tried blue mountain 🏔️ jamaican coffee. Overall , it's good ,,. Marquis ethiopian is to no compare. I look for the best coffee I can find. flavor spot on. fabulous brand

I bought the 2 lb bag of ground coffee. It makes a very delicious and mellow cold brew coffee. My only complaints are that there is no date on the bag to tell me when it was roasted and/or ground, and the bad is not resealable (you must cut the bag open, and then roll up the bag with your own clip to close it).

The coffee was GREAT.WOULD BUY IT AGAIN.

This coffee is delicious! This was my second time ordering it. This time the package was opened when it arrived. The actual bag the coffee is in was still sealed, but the delivery package it comes in was either opened or not sealed correctly. Everything else was great and it even came a day early!
