The Redshift seat post allows you to change the position of your saddle (road or aero, like on a triathlon bike) while riding. The angle of the saddle tube allows you a fuller and correct leg movement to ride more comfortably and efficiently in the aero position. Do you ride on flat for a long time with a headwind? Push the saddle forward to move into aero position and protect yourself from the wind. Do you have to climb a difficult coast? Slide the saddle back and ride comfortably in the road position. The saddle tube is designed to maintain a constant distance between the saddle and the pedals in both positions to ensure proper leg movement. Also, some riders prefer to tilt their saddle further forward in the aero position, you can tilt the saddle an additional five degrees when you move from the road position to the aero position. The mechanism is completely stable in both positions, a spring-loaded stop securely holds the saddle until you decide to change position. This two-position seat tube allows you to enjoy the aero position without compromising your ordinary road configuration. The seat post is made of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum alloy. The tube measures 27.2mm in diameter and 350mm in length. Shims (not included) can be used to adapt the seat post to bikes with a wider dedicated location. The seat post is suitable for saddles with rails measuring approximately 7 mm. The seat post as a whole weighs 400 g.
