I typically buy safety pins at a fabric store because I need good quality pins for my daughter‘s dance costumes. These seems like they were going to be great, but when I got them, I realized they were flimsy hand of poor quality compared to what I can get elsewhere. I returned them.

Good performance

These safety pins are good but they are not suitable in my opinion to be called "heavy duty". The metal isn't as thick and strong as the pins created years ago. They do well but if put under force they do pop open. Otherwise they're great for tons of small jobs. The container is super handy as well as the assortment of sizes they come in.
